Oh no doubt, but KLP was making noises well before Brentford came in with a solid offer.

Does any club have any real sense of identity these days? Who’s our longest serving player who didn’t come from out academy? Jones? Watching City is increasingly starting to feel like watching any old team. Even the local players who probably grew up dreaming of playing at the KCOM would rather hop on the transfer merry go round.

Managers and back room staff come and go on average probably every 12 months, players aren’t far behind them with maybe 2-3 years. Just look at the **** Harry Kane is getting for a rare act of showing loyalty so getting abused for having no ambition and accepting his place as a second rate centre forward…

Football is so short term now city doesn’t feel like ‘us’ and I find I couldn’t give a toss what any of the players do other than the local lads who it seems in turn don’t give a toss about city.

    Load’a ****e.

I wouldn’t want KLP back, I think it’d be a backwards move for all involved.
As for Greaves going to a PL team, I still don’t think he’s good enough, too lightweight & I don’t see any team in the PL who would be interested in him. The only way he’s going to play in the PL is via a promoted team, whether it’s us or if a top Championship team buy him. He’s more of a Michael Turner CB than a Harry Maguire. Although I think he plays more like Maguire than Turner.

But he hasn't been getting game time in the cup either...

Good luck to him, but come back to visit your family and friends... oh and playing against City

Apparently we are interested in David Fofana on loan from Chelsea. Be surprised if they loan anyone else to us

Has he ever actually played a league game for us? I can’t remember.

Regarding KLP, no thanks. Didn’t want to be here even if we offered close to what Seri and Tufan are on. Doesn’t matter if he’s a Hull lad. **** him tbh.

I quit my job at a local company because somewhere in York offered to double my wage. When I handed in my notice that local company offered to match my new wage. I still left. I must be a proper twat.

Come on as a sub 3 times in league games. I’ve always been impressed when he has played, suspect they will loan him to Morecambe or somesuch in the hope that elevates him to be ready for championship football.

    It is and it isn't.

LR clearly likes him, took him to Turkey and started him over there and got him on in the FA Cup game too. A couple of years ago we had massive hopes for him, but he's had a few bad injuries and really struggled

Pelkas and Tufan have been our creative 10s so far with Slater or Doc there if we've decided to prioritise the press. Traore is an AM also though he has played right and deeper in his career. It was said at the time that Vale had come in to compete for the right sided spot. Evidently we had more suitable options both in the 10 and on the right than Vale - despite injuries otherwise one of the 3 coaches this year would have been regularly playing him.

A lot of a young prospects value is in future potential, but until they break through into men's football that's all it is whether they're on £250 a week or 25k a week.
