Hopefully our FA Cup run continues as my belief is we haven't played enough games this season to get our squad properly match fit and firing on all cylinders. It's all been a bit stop start with the Queens passing and then just when we seemed to be hitting our stride the break for the WC came. We now have Bamford, Sinisterra, Rutter, Firpo, Llorente plus Summerville, when he's fit, all needing valuable game time but obviously not to the detriment of PL results.
Jammy is right. Our squad carries alot more depth than has for years. We should go all out to beat Accrington. I'd start strong but maybe rest Gnonto and play Sinisterra. Play Kristensen, Llorente, Koch, Firpo as a back 4. Stick Greenwood in the middle of the park. Other than that play the starters with the view that we can take off the key players when (hopefully) the game is won.
Problem is they're all strikers and defenders. Hopefully we can address that before the window closes as the only midfielders we have are; Adams Roca Greenwood Gyabi Jury is still out on Greenwood and Gyabi deemed not quite ready yet it would seem.
Afternoon All The view I can gather from Twitter is that the McKennie deal is nailed on. As I understand it we're just thrashing out the price for him but Juve doesn't want him to leave the club on the cheap. I imagine that if Harrison goes to Leicester then Noa Lang will be at ER pretty quickly.
Gyabi is too naive. Needs to learn when to turn and when to lay it off. It was obvious he went in to hiding once Cardiff started to get a foothold in the game. I used to call them 'bully players'. Look world class when their team is dominating games but when the going gets tough and you need players to stay strong they just go missing or feign injury etc. That's what I've got him pegged down as.
I go along with Emu’s back 4 and would also have Sonny Perkins available for the bench. Aaronson to get his mojo back starting with Georginio on the right and then give Rodders and Bamford 45mins each
Story going around that Arsenal are trying to hijack McKennie offering Juve £26m but seemingly the player wants Leeds? We shall see
Hey, he's young, he has time on his side but in his current state he's no use to us in the PL. They'll tear him apart and it will cost us goals. He's got great feet though and a good turn of pace. Just needs a bit of experience and some older pros to toughen him up a bit.
He did well for about 20 minutes but I have high hopes for him going forward, looks to have bundles of talent.
Hi Mike are you well? You haven't bought an old computer off OLOF have you? If so, be careful what is on it apart from the dodgy keyboard
