That man utd team was something else, those players had an unmatched desire to win everything humanly possible
****ing hell man, my electricity is off again this morning, the sixth time in three weeks. Northern Powergrid are ****e.
Yup, this is without a shadow of a doubt the best chance we've had for a pot in my 40 years. IF we get there, we can do Man U. I have absolutely no doubt we can.
The morning after the night before...... Screw the missed chances, we won! Football is a fickle mistress. Bring on the second leg
Southampton fans comparing us to arsenal under George Graham...a very difficult team to play against. Guess what? It's only gonna get better!
Was thinking that, but that Arsenal earned their "boring, boring" chant. In each of these games where we've "struggled" to score, it's only Arsenal (ironically) where "Newcastle nil" was justified - and even then Joelinton missed a sitter. Personally I think we need to start ASM and Isak, because we absolutely FLY out of the blocks at kick off and seem to create the vast majority of our chances in the first 20 mins or so. Wilson has been terrible, and yesterday Joelinton, Willock, Longstaff all made really poor choices. I'd like at least Isak to be given a chance to capitalise on these chances, potentially even bring ASM in for Willock. Willock is a lot younger and has time on his side, we need to get ASM to peak right now - either to benefit directly, or sell him. At the moment he's a show pony, clubs don't pay big money for that.
I definitely can’t go now. My operation tomorrow has been pushed back to 9th February so will be recovering
Isak just looks the business, he's knocking on Eddie's door with his cameo performances. Wilson is long overdue a goal, how many games is that now, eight without a goal?
Think Eddie is just being cautious with Isak bringing him up to speed gently like he did with Bruno Bruno was just getting 5 or 10mins sub appearance when he first came in
That was brilliant play from Isak. Great skill then gets his head up and picks Joelinton out instead of just crossing it anywhere.
