Let's hope we go into the game focused and with a strong team with a great chance of a decent showing in this competition which is long overdue and that it all doesn't turn well......sour <whistle>

Irrespective of the debate around Marsch you have got to be a bit exited about seeing Georginio play and if we can pull off the McKinnie transfer we will have had a fantastic January window. Wober looks the part and a leader on the pitch, Georginio could be the icing on the cake in front of goal, but McKinnie gives us a tried and tested midfield partnership with Tyler Adams and Roca as a much better back up than Forshaw. Indeed some of the players we moaned about like Klich and Forshaw have gone or on their way out and looking like Coopers replacement found.

Not even bothered about the Leeds United States jibes because it’s a massive money earner. The USA is a huge market and having the USA skipper as well as 2 of their pin up boys in our team means Leeds will be the most followed football team in the States. There are 4 poster boys in US soccer and we have 3 of them (hopefully) and still rumours we may get the other in the summer from Chelsea?

The lad Musah looked far better than McKennie at the World Cup. He kept Aaronson benched and looked a good fit for us.

Hope we don't pay 25 million for a Juventus reserve player.

If the 49ers are signing up USA players to open us up to the USA market it’s a slippery slope. If they’re the best we can get for the money and they’re an improvement fine. Best bet would be to sell Aaronson as he isn’t cut out for the PL so swap him for one of these supposed targets.

USA players, Red Bull players, someone is doing their best to make Jesse feel settled and comfy

musah looked quality for his age… I thought mckennie looked good too though, he’s quite versatile and gels well with Adams.

as you say the question mark is why juve want rid… but then Adams wasn’t making the Leipzig team.. so who knows. Hopefully they’ve done the research

yeh I’m fine with it too… I don’t mind being the US’s favourite PL team providing the players are up to scratch.

ie if they like mckennie and ounahi equally, and they go with mckennie because he’s a yank that’s fine. If they prefer ounahi and go with mckennie because he’s a yank that’s not fine.

I for one have no issue what nationality player we sign. Don't care about accents, country of origin. Only requirement in my book is to improve the team
