On the one hand yes, but I do wonder if playing an actual LB would have prevented such a thing from occurring. I also have no idea why anyone ever tries to play Djenepo on the right, he so obviously struggles there but both Ralph and Jones have now opted for it. He is a passable LB and ok LW, nowhere else.
It did become more entertaining to watch than the game for a bit. A few lads revealed their allegiance when Newcastle scored and got beaten the **** out of. We then scored whilst they were still on the floor and cue even more of a beating and verbal abuse. When it was disallowed, a Newcastle fan who looked like Vicky Pollard came out of nowhere celebrating and got chased out of the Kingsland.
See I think Perraud can be alright, just inconsistent. Might as well chuck him up front if nothing else, he is a better finisher than any of our ‘strikers’
Perraud doesn't need resting, he's barely played lately. Would love to see Ballard or Morgan start but no chance of that under this clown.
Stewards were very slow in dealing with that. It was fairly close to where I was stood. A Saints fan headbutted one of the lads right in front of the copper. Good job the club has taken steps to prevent away fans in home sections eh
Was there a problem with the turnstiles tonight btw? They had one of the exits open and were letting people in using hand scanners, seemed a bit odd. Also, what's with the barriers for the chapel car park being left down after the match? ****ing ridiculous and could easily cause crowd issues seeing as there were no stewards managing the flow of people.
Am I right in thinking that red cards get applied to the next domestic game which includes the FA Cup meaning that DCC can sit out the Blackpool game and play in the 2nd leg on Tuesday?
Probably (and excitedly) close the whole block now, blaming fan trouble whilst away fans can still get into the stadium with flares.
I think you'll find the club did all they can by announcing a method of restricting sales which didn't actually work.
