My prediction is we'll see the Redbull in a new livery we all like that's never to be seen again.

Your last suggestion suits me, will give us an easy comparison to the early 2022 car.

no idea. I think much depends on engine.

the ferrari team are making big talk for their fans.

Red bull has highest top speed, be it drag or otherwise.

the merc looked the 3rd engine at points last year, but who knows.

I don't see their (Merc) chances are as high as RBR/Max making it 3. But the season is long. Personally I want to see Ferrari take it this year.
I do want Lewis to get an 8th before he retires.
I also would like Alonso to get another, Charles and Carlos to each get their first (obviously not all in 1 season). Alonso next year, Charles or Carlos this year, lewis in the 3rd.
Of course that wish list leaves no room for George or Max who will do their best to disrupt the order and I think we all want Lando to have his time at some point.

I have been a close fan of F1 since 1971 and followed all teams and drivers through the years and have concluded that Lewis Hamilton is the best driver ever. Early in my following of F1 I witnessed the skill of the best, Moss, Stewart, Clark, Hill, Hunt, Senna, and a few others, the best cars were Lotus, Mclaren and Williams,.Ferrari never featured highly in my list and only became points scorers when the cheating became a feature of Schumachers obvious skill set.

    Come on hammy FFS

I see George finishing higher if allowed that is. We shall see! Don`t forget he`ll have the same equipment he`s beat him once he can do it again. It is going to be very interesting.

I think this year will be very interesting for Lewis Vs George. I do wonder if George almost had an advantage in 2022 in that he was used to working very hard to drag the Williams further towards the front than the car really deserved. Maybe Lewis became a bit complacent with such great cars that he lost his edge, hopefully he will be back as I would like him to get his 8th WDC.

I'm not comparing George directly with Alonso here but Alonso is still able to really get a car into a grid position it doesn't deserve (not the best way to put that as I am sure all the people involved work 100% to get the best they can).
I hope Alonso can get good things out of the Aston and show up his 'team mate'.

I'm looking forward to 2023 as the budget caps will be starting to bite properly now and some teams have the opportunity to make big gains after seeing other teams concepts last year.

Difficult to take a whole ton from last season given the crazy things they were trying to get something out of that car. George is no slouch though, so those two could hamper their own title challenges if the car is improved this year. I'm ready for F1 to be back and hopefully a bit more exciting than last season.

I simply don’t believe in best driver EVER .

Best of an era , certainly , too many variables to get GOAT . IMHO .

Well lets hope its sorted and we get back into some form of truthful sensible driving and realistic management. covid is controlled, and the arabs are kept under control.

When I was a young man I became an Electrical engineer and loved it and worked all over the UK in the food packaging industry I always believed we were building a a wonderful country and environment which would provide a sustainable and viable future for all who lived in the UNITED KINGDOM No matter what, dare I say, colour race etc adinfinitum

What has happened to my belief and hope, oh yes covid 19 has ****ed the World just where did it come from.eh some body knows, dont you think

Also I have been forced into retirement at 74 years of age due to the my employer not wanting to risk the possibility of my suffering badly from the covid effects,

Are they allowed to 'force' you to retire. I thought they stopped that with the age discrimination act?
Personally I think a lot of companies are just using Covid to bump prices up and say it's supply and demand etc. Covid is being used as a lot of excuses for all sorts of stuff - companies are still using it as an excuse not to answer phones.
Don't get me wrong Covid was and still is dangerous - a lot less to most people than when it first came around but still dangerous.

Good luck in your forced retirement.

I have been a fan of Lewis, being the first coloured driver at this level and his struggles to get there endeared me to him. I remain a fan but it did get a bit boring and it is good to focus on the talents of the other drivers. As I have said, I want Lewis to get his 8th but also it will mean more if it is not easily obtained.

I experienced ageism, went to court over it. I will be 71 this year and still working, albeit self employed now.

I’m not underestimating the dangers of covid .

Our neighbours lost a son to it (. Not vaccinated ) and a friend of my wife lost a leg to it ( vaccinated )

I do agree though some Companies are using it as an excuse for certain things .
