I hope he gets sacked on the first day after drop kicking Pickford in the face whilst wearing sharpened studs!

    like.....

they were on anchelotti's back for months.

then they hated on benitez cos he once called them small minded.

so really... just what exactly do they think they can get with zero transfer budget and death threats to staff?

    hardly inducing interest is it?

Their fans' behaviour, coupled with the current parlous state of the club has surely made it difficult for them to attract anyone of note.
Any top manager will have a choice of clubs in a much better position than they are - it looks like another fireman is needed to try and keep them from the drop.
    Yet again.

Any top manager would be mad to go in right now. Give it time Spurs job may become available. If Chelsea go out early in the CL knockouts, I reckon that job becomes available. Even Leicester would be a better option.

Yeah, the Sean dyche comment is about the best they could actually hope for.

I think it big fat Duncan for them now.

If it's Duncan as the manager instead of No.2 then they're definitely going down.

Might make sense, especially if they can do it without giving him a big pay raise. They're going to need to cut costs if they're going down and signing a big name manager is going to hurt the wallet.

    sigh.

that really is ****ing depressing looking.

if they went and got the fat old man in a peado coat (rooney) then at least they could claim he did alright in difficult situations like.

I dunno. before they squeezed out of it last season I was struggling to think what side they'd put together in the championship and right now they are probably even worse.

    no gk next season
    some pretty average defenders
midfield is an eyesore and none will want to stay
    no forwards.

    double relegation territory

Well, he may have meant that, but what he said is that they are a small team.

but he was inferring mentality of approach.

They took and take anything personally but never use it to improve, if they gave rafa 50% of what they wasted as cash he might have got them up the table. they never backed him and left him on the free market.

the man was MAD to take that job.

The next man in there has only one important credential. Does he have a track record of hating LFC. they grabbed onto Lampard as he called us bad winners, it didn't matter how bad his sdie was at the foot of the tbale last season. Now this seasn reality seems to be setting in that they've lost so many players that they are actually in real trouble.

    their team next augst:

Begovic (pickford won't sign new deal)
Patterson holgtate Tarkowski Godrey? (or maybe they'll sell tarkowski who knows)
Mcneill Davies Garner ???? Gray can't see the likes of gueye, iwobi or onana wanting to be there
Gordon ??? acant see calvert lewin or maupay etc wanting to stick about.

the sad thin is if they get 17th there seems no relief in sight as all the people i mentioned who will want to flee are going to stick about as they won't get more money elsewhere.

There should actually be enough talent there to put an 11 together to be half reasonable if the new manager knows hwo to defend. But goals are a major major issue.

you'd almost feel sorry for spurs fans who should be enjoying this but apparently its almost inevitable he will leave according to the rags and take this scoring record with him so he can complete the premier league scoring record

I would presume he thinking he can do this over next 4 years.

the all time scoring record is not under threat and never will be of course.

3 fans arrested for homophobic chanting during liverpool chelsea game.

Such a common occurrence surprised aren’t more arrests made. Wonder when will finally crack down on all kinds of chanting as goes on so often.

Rafa's actual quote on being asked why Liverpool found it hard to break Everton down - "When you play with a small club always it's the same, they try to play deep."

Although implying is done by the speaker and inferring is done by the listener, I think in this particular case mito could be correct. In the field of psychology, inference or inferring means making a logical conclusion on the basis of observed behaviour.
