Versatile attacker that was at Bournemouth for a bit and did nothing in the Prem. Smashed it in the Championship when they went down, though. Primarily a left-winger, but also plays as a striker. Probably replaces one of our 15 centre-halves on the bench. May start against Preston in the cup, if it goes through.
The Bobble is essentially Everton’s best ITK, to the point he’s basically their Ally Gold, shady behaviour to be honest. Funny for us but shady nonetheless.
Had a bit of a browse and it seems that he was a Lampard signing and sacking him killed it. The Everton fans are taking the news very well. Honest.
Pretty happy with this signing. Fast, skilful, physical with a good eye for goal and as others have mentioned offers us options to cover / compete with Sonny and Kane and maybe cutting in off the right like Kulu. Pretty much confirms Conte will be sticking with the 343 formation and not a 3412 with a Maddison type in the hole. Porro hopefully done before the window shuts, Udogie coming in at LWB in the summer, leaves a rearguard rebuild - GK and two CB'S for next season.
Absolutely yet still less insane than the madness of spending £35m on a player whose knees are made of raw spaghetti so hopefully that's the end of the Zaniolo links.
Gary Jacob says we’ll pay £2.5m for the loan and have a £27m option to buy. Romano has also said Sporting rejected our latest offer for Porro, talks to resume tomorrow. Marco Conterio also says Danjuma was our backup option to…….. Deulofeu.
Ali Gold has said that Sporting are maybe softening on the idea of wanting the whole fee up front, so we may be making progress there.
I am not against signing Danjuma, we are shockingly light on attacking options as the bench for the last 2 matches has shown. 2.5m is small change in footballing terms and he was very good in the champions league last season. Hopefully Conte wanted him and will play him (if he signs) even if he only considers him a better option from the bench.
Nizaar Kinsella says Chelsea are tracking our meeting with Sporting tomorrow over Porro to see if we seal the deal or not.
Get in Levy Just what we needed A Jack of all trades but master of **** all welcome to Tottenham mate
Further research suggests that he may have a use in the squad. 6 CL goals last season and he can run Let’s hope Conte wanted him or we ain’t seeing him plus anything has to be an improvement on what Son, Richarlison and Moura are offering I guess
Danjuma can’t really lose to be honest, it’ll be almost impossible for him to be a flop but extremely possible to end up being one of our best signings this season due to the bar being low: If he scores a league goal he’s better than Richarlison. If he plays just a few games he’ll be a better signing than Spence and Forster. If he gets played in his natural role and looks like the player he can be he’ll be a better signing than Bissouma. All he then needs is to play reasonably well over a set number of games and he’ll be pushing Perisic and Lenglet as our best signing this season.
