that's the team, you can't start picking and choosing if your own criteria don't suit. I could for example pick a lot of January sides, the one form 2 years ago who couldn't score. the one that lost to Southampton in league Cup semi and couldn't win.... the team isn't that bloody bad lol.
onana agent has decided his rat needs to get off the sinking ship. rumours have started chelsea want to beat arsenal to his signing. as if.
Mignolet < Alisson Clyne < Trent Toure < Konate Sahko = Gomez Moreno < Robertson Henderson > Keita Lucas = Bajcetic Can < Thiago Milner < Salah Firmino > Nunez Ibe < Gakpo I make that one for 15/16, two draws and eight for now.
probably fiar. Maybe a little kind to the young lad bajcetic. I mean can was alright but he was all over the place in terms of consistency. Lucas was a spent force by then, Clyne was on the blow, mingolet couldn't kick, pass or catch but was a good shot stopper. I mean that was basically the Bournemouth team plus subs. LFC today have massive injury list
That's literally what the manager does every game. You did for your 15/16 team, one with Ibe in which would not have been the norm. 2015/16 Klopp had this to pick from (although pretty sure Coutinho was sold by January). 2 Nathaniel Clyne 3 Jose Enrique 4 Kolo Toure 6 Dejan Lovren 7 James Milner 9 Christian Benteke 10 Philippe Coutinho 11 Roberto Firmino 12 Joe Gomez 14 Jordan Henderson 15 Daniel Sturridge 17 Mamadou Sakho 18 Alberto Moreno 19 Steven Caulker 20 Adam Lallana 21 Lucas 22 Simon Mignolet 23 Emre Can 24 Joe Allen 26 Tiago Ilori 27 Divock Origi 28 Danny Ings 29 Arjen Robben 32 Cameron Brannagan 33 Jordon Ibe 34 Adam Bogdan 35 Kevin Stewart 36 Samed Yesil 37 Martin Skrtel 38 Jon Flanagan 39 Ryan Fulton 40 Ryan Kent 41 Jack Dunn 43 Ryan McLaughlin 45 Mario Balotelli 46 Jordan Rossiter 47 Andre Wisdom 48 Jerome Sinclair 49 Jordan Williams 50 Lazar Markovic 51 Lloyd Jones 52 Danny Ward 53 Joao Carlos Teixeira 54 Sheyi Ojo 56 Connor Randall 57 Joe Maguire 58 Daniel Cleary 64 Sergi Canos 68 Pedro Chirivella On paper and in good form. Absolutely, we beat that team 19 times out of 20. But my point though is, on current form and morale, not so much. Also Studge spent most of the season (most of his career) injured, so be fair to say he's a big name Klopp16 wouldn't have at his disposal when picking a team to face Klopp23.
Lallana was a fine player when fit. Great at pressing (one of our best), good control in tight spaces and could play a through ball. He just got injured too much.
I picked game in the closest day to the current day of month from jan 2016. no agenda. If we are then going to play oh well sturridge would have game then i can raise you diaz and jota. If its an utterly unconstrained pick from the 25 man squad each iteration of klopp has at their disposal.... well then klopp 2022 wins hands down 99/100 Alisson trent Konate VVD Robertson (no question) pick 2 of the midfielders. Jota Salah Diaz Nunez Just one example. the midfield is poor we all know it but theres 9 to pick fomr to cobble up two sitting cms there. Like.... At best Mingolet Clyne Toure Lovren Moreno (like hellloooo) Henderson Lucas Lallana Firmino coutinho (alland didn't move to rCm until maes came in that summer) Sturrdige Or if you like stick in a 433 and change it to more what klopp would actually do/did this side finished 8th and crawled through to europa final and lost. It was signings that made it better. MANE. the answer then is it will be SIGNINGS that will make 2023/24 team better as well.
I fully expect so. As I stated at the very beginning, this is not a dig at Klopp, I have full faith in him... But despite on paper having a strong squad, I think morale and form we're the weakest we've been under him. My point for all this is our 15/16 middleweights. (One of the weakest squads on paper we've had over the years) would have beaten the current squad based on form/spirit... Not that they are better players. It would be absolute folly to say that squad could hold a candle to our current squad...despite reaching two cup finals that year. We've been beaten by teams a lot worse than our 15/16 squad and sit lower in the table, but it's not because we have worse players... We're just in ludicrously bad form this season.
I think morale 2 years ago and form btw was worse. Once they got thaigo fit and Nat Phillips playing they won enough to get 4th. this is slightly different as the full forward line is in disarray as well. Once we get some reliable goal scoring going imo we will improve.
Against a prime Lucas, Bajcetic stand no chance. As you say, Lucas was didn't by then and maybe in time Bajcetic will become better than a prime Lucas (hopefully)
Well, despite the hurdles, I've overcome the challenge; car purchased and driven home this morning. Didn't need extra finance either Not driving it yet though, still got the courtesy car until 5pm tomorrow, sod putting wear and tear on my car
lucas 2011, absolute prime prior to acl v Chelsea he really had put everything into his game and was supremely fit at that time. it was all about fitness this bajcetic kid has the brain of a 28 year old. Really impressive but he's more like a 16.year old in terms of power. he's tall, rangey, has eye for passes and spatial awareness. add physique of age and training to this and he will be quite a good player. but attitude like lucas (or Henderson) is hard to find and icing on top. my personal favourite was never Gerrard. it was alonso as he had the attitude and the skills.
fastest car in the world mate. I suggest driving it only in 2nd gear all day tomorrow see how fast it'll go till the clutch slips.
