That's where we went wrong in the past, spending good money on the wrong targets. Gone are the days of splashing cash on the likes of Rodwell, Grigg etc. It's amazing the transformation that's gone on at our club in such a short space of time.
This is the happiest I’ve been since the Jimmy Adamson and Peter Reid days, probably happier if I’m honest, and while I’m on have you noticed I’m second off top in the predictions league <diva>

Everyone's entitled to their opinions and I respect yours, but disagree with it completely. If there is a sniff of promotion we should be going for it 100%. How could we not? This talk of 'stability' and 'slow building' is frankly, nonsense. How do you make sure we "don't" go up? Throw games? Not try? We try 100% and if we fail, we fail. If we end up in the PL somehow we'll be starting from a base of a group of players who have already displayed extraordinary ability in a short space of time, have developed over the course of 18 months or so and are on an upward trajectory. Sensible signings and a commitment to our policies could easily see us avoiding the bottom 3 - most of the PL teams I've seen this season are just us with more money. And if we fail, we regroup (with parachute payments) and go again. The players, mangement and owners have earned out support, long may it continue.

It's a good post mate. I'm not at all suggesting we "throw" matches. I suppose it comes down to how many of our current squad we feel will be able to compete in the PL in the event of promotion. My own view is that, whilst I agree we have a very talented, and rapidly improving, group of young players,I'm not convinced many of them are yet ready,in which case,in order to avoid the bottom 3 as you mention,a significant amount of player investment will be required,or,are we going to be in and out of the relegation spots all season long....as we have been in the past. I disagree with you when you call stability and slow building "nonsense". We have made such rapid progress under the KLD regime,I think I'm suggesting that another year or 18 months of similar would provide a better platform to allow us to be competitive in the PL rather than to become the whipping boys again. However,I take your point,if we do make it this season,I'll be fully behind the lads,as I always am.

That scene on Sunderland till I die will haunt me forever, that smug pricks face when he pays 3 times more than Ross was willing to offer boils my piss, still believe he spent the upcoming summers budget on that deal aswell to feed his ego
I still cant bring myself to watch it, cant stand those 2 chancers so refused to watch series 2

Just thinking about Amad. On the assumption we can't afford the lad......if we don't go up and Man U don't think he's quite ready for them yet,we might get him on another season loan?

I didn’t watch it until we were promoted, it’s nice to see how far we’ve come but also infuriating watching Methven speaking to everyone like utter ****

The latter is the only option realistically. If we were in with a shot of automatic promotion then a calculated gamble might be justified. But gambling to get into the playoffs which in itself is a bit of a lottery and requires a huge slice of luck would be reckless.
Its a gamble worth £100m

Sekou Diawara moves to Udinese. Spits was superfluous at @KRCGenkofficial. Hamburg and Sunderland are concrete for Németh. There is interest from Cyprus for Dewaest. @hlnsport

Tbf at least 50% of those people completely deserved it. I nearly put my foot through the telly where he asked for ideas and got blank looks, but they livened up considerably to shoot down any idea he had.

Hopefully none of those obstructive people are still at the club as well.

Not a chance, I would imagine there will be clubs already queuing up to sign the lad after seeing how much of a player he is. Man Utd will either keep him or try and recoup most of the money they shelled out for him.
