We're playing with 10 men. Emerson's clearly injured. Got done by Mitrovic.

What about the substitutions which we make to adjust to the way the game is unfolding?

    Oh, right...

The fans are doing what they should be doing and getting behind the team.
I have no idea what the alternative is other than creating a poisonous atmosphere

I mean cheering on the team instead of ranting about the board would be a start...

The difference between what's counted as a foul on Mitrovic and by Mitrovic is massive.

Hojbjerg once again leadfooted, which has been par for the course ever since the restart

Maybe if we're lucky, Bissouma might come on in the 78th minute

Son booked. Pulled back, then fouled and that's the advantage. <doh>

We were better than this under Mourinho when Kane and Son were both injured and we played a front line of Dele and Lucas.

    These are the salient facts.

Diop just hits him in the face! <laugh> Doubt he's actually hurt, but that's just silly.

Allow me to sum up how we will play for the next 60+ minutes

The ball is passed to Bentancur. Two midfielders swarm him, cutting off the out balls to Perisic or Son, so all he can do is pass the ball backwards. This pattern will repeat many, many times - never changing, never adjusting, it just is and has always been

Yes but the rules were different then. Now Son and other forwards are more likely to be brought down without consequence for the perpetrator. That's a big reason for Spurs not working as well.

We're certainly getting as easy to figure out right now as we were under the ubermensch

Under the ubermensch opponents knew pressing our midfield would leave us relying on the Aurier/Lucas pairing to create anything - and as that pairing was the Bermuda Triangle most games, unless Kane or Son had the bit between their teeth we were locked down

Currently under Conte, pressing midfield nullifies Bentancur and has us endlessly recycling the ball among the defenders as if the opponents won't just press Bentancur again when he gets the ball the next time, and the time after that, and so on, and so on...so unless Romero or Kulusevski roll their sleeves up and try and bridge the gap, we get locked down
