Yes that statement somewhat confused me, I am hoping that it is just clumsy wording, especially as the Middlesborough game is at the Riverside, so not sure how it will go introducing our player to fans at an away game ;-)
Quite - fans saying we can get a Premier league quality player in but we aren't in the Premier league now and we haven't replaced other players people were glad to see well recently like Deeney/Foster. I mean the only back up now is Pollock who some have decided isn't up to it and Kabasele now who isn't fit. We must be getting at least one defender in.

We are now short in Central defence. I'm not sure Ryan Porteous will be coming to us this month, we may just agree a deal with him to sign in June, a pre contract. Not even sure he would be ready to step in anyway. Maybe there is some truth in us borrowing the Liverpool CB? Also Kabasele may be close to returning. Pollock loan seems to be on hold so that suggests he's not going until another body comes through the door.

Apparently linked to him most transfer windows ( a Bayat client ?) Porteous is due to come it seems but Hibs have an injury crisis in defence so aren’t willing to sell yet . Some are hoping Everton come in for Sarr if they are desperate- seems unlikely and not sure Sarr himself would be keen to join them .
