They are second from bottom of the table with 15 points from 20 matches, above Southampton on goal difference. Everton are now looking for their sixth permanent manager in five years."
What's the most managers a team's had in a single season? I think we must be up there for 2008/09 went we had Keegan, Houghton, Kinnear and Shearer.
I like this claim to fame, Lampard's probably so proud of it he'll have it chiselled on his tombstone. He took over when they were 16th and finished in 16th. Ie they'd just sacked a manager for crap results and brought in one who gave them a record just as bad. So Lampard won't get Everton relegated then, yet another has tried his hardest and not quite taken them down.
Hopefully it's that toxic a situation no manager worth their salt will take the job, and they get someone with no intergrity who just wants another pay off.
