And in less positive youth news, young striker Jude Soonsup-Bell, who turns 19 tomorrow, is set to leave the club this summer this month, as per a report last week. He had worked himself up to the fringes of the first-team and even made his senior debut last season in the League Cup, but has fallen by the wayside for some reason. His contract is up at the end of the season, but he has “decided to bring forward his departure”. We have made similar accommodations to youngsters in the past, so if that’s his choice, we will likely facilitate it. But it is still an unfortunate development for a young player who certainly had (and still has) some promise — and is apparently leaving because of the familiar “first-team pathways” reason. Good luck, JSB! From weaintgotnohistory
Following extensive consultation with youtube I have come to the conclusion he is ****ing class. Get him in...
Your only adopting the sensible approach most supporters would agree with 100%...No more lashing loads of money on journeymen footballers and cash rich wannabe footballers who want all of the trapping of success but none of the hard graft to keep/get you there.
Although we need another forward, definitely but I'll take another centre half over Simms coming back. He is not the perfect foil for the LND
Hopefully the 'first team pathway' sways it for us. Or even if he does go to City or someone else there still could be a chance to loan him to us.
Where did this Soonsup-Bell rumour come from? He's one of the highest rated youngsters in the country. There's surely absolutely no chance. He'll be going somewhere like Dortmund
