Some Rangers fans think that giving old codgers like Davis a new contract isn't the right thing to do. Neither is playing guys who are quite obviously out of form or carrying an injury week in week out like Tav, Lundstram and Kamara.

Giving guys like Lowry and Devine a run games would be much preferable and I'd be surprised if they would do any worse than those mentioned in recent months.

 

Honestly any time I've seen him play he's been trash. He puts the ball out of play in 50% of his passing.

Fair points Alec but the coaching staff must be seeing stuff that we are not as humble sevconians.

Lundstrum has been pish most of the season, as has Tav but you could literally put nearly every first teamer in that bracket (being pish all season) apart from Goldson imho.

Devine looks like a skinny wee boy and needs to get on the juicing program, Lowry needs to shave that goatee and get focused on breaking into the first team...

 

I wouldn't have given Davis or McGregor new contracts or Goldson for that matter even if he has been not bad this season.

Tav can't defend and is knackered and Lundstram looks even more knackered. I think the Belgian boy will be a great signing for us, if we actually even sign him, which I doubt we will.

 

Not signing Goldson would’ve been disastrous for us. He’s about the only decent defender we have fs.
