Great post mate! I admit to being very sceptical at his appointment....dour was one of the thoughts I had about him too. However,I'm happy to admit I'm wrong.
He seems to be able to relate to these young players and the improvement in their play is testament to that. Where we are at the minute,he appears to be a perfect fit,and I've really warmed to him.

He seems to really like working with young promising players over the experienced players some managers want.

He seems a good fit for the club in this way as his enthusiasm for working with them clearly helps the team. Not only that this is the model we want as a club and he comes across as enjoying it.

Train Hume is absolutely perfect for the Corry Evans role ...

... I'll be amazed if he doesn't end up playing there, he has all the right qualities.

Obviously the product of a hard of seeing fan. If the team think that, which I doubt, they are fecked.

When you've had the runaround like they had yesterday, the best thing is for the team to acknowledge it, or it will happen again

    Champion.
I missed the first half due to another trip to hospital, so that's my viewing sorted for tonight.

    Thanks for posting.

Really impressed with Hume. Reckon he can be a quality player here and for many years too.

Cheers mate, good to be back. Neil is an absolute joy to watch. He has stepped up under Mowbray who I am sure is the best thing that could have happened to our young players. A shout for Venus as well who is massive fan of Neil. I still think there is more to come from him because his technical ability is so high and he could be anything by the time he is 24. I am just enjoying watching one of our own shine so brightly for us.

I hope all is well <cheers>
I'm off work so just watched the whole thing back this morning.
I missed the first half too, as I'd committed to doing some voluntary work thinking that a Sunday morning would be fine <doh>

Luke O'Nien commentating on Sky was great - especially the bit about Kevin Ball. He said that Bally helped him settle in when he first moved up and was very supportive. Don Goodman said Bally would have been proud of Luke's tackle against Swansea last week and the only thing that Bally did for him was to break his toe during training, then Luke saying something like - "yeah but he told me that you deserved it" <laugh>

I liked the bit where he was talking about skills and weaknesses of our players and he was asked what Ross's weakness was, "Golf" was the instant reply.

Sunderland “broke away down the right” negating to mention this was the cumulative of a 16 or 17 pass move!! We obviously just hoofed it over the top!! Hilarious

The new lad at work is anBoro fan and from Middlesbrough. He just admitted we wanted it more. Admitted it was a definite foul but said it was outside the box. Also admitted it had to be a red card too regardless so chances are it didn’t exactly impact the final outcome. Sensible summary from him really. Unlike the pleb in that article!!

I honestly believed Mowbray was just a blunt talking bloke who didn't play games in his interviews ...

... but he has a wicked sense of deep sarcasm and is on a par with Ferguson for mind games.

For someone as 'dour' as he's painted his interviews really make me laugh.
