I played the exact same pass last night in the over mid-20s game down at Toryglen and the striker ballooned it too.

Must be a problem with the pass.

 

He gives the ball away to frequently imo but if he's not playing regular football by now, despite the obviously shortcomings in the Rangers side then he's probably just not good enough.

If Lowry is good enough he should be at the stage now of at least getting regular game time from the bench. Kent, Arfield, Jack, Davis, Tillman, Sands could all be gone in the summer, question marks over Kamara too. It could be a good time for him to get a chance.

 

Yeah and Beale is a known proponent of blooding youths (not making youths bleed as happens over at the Shack) so this would lend credence to the notion that Lowry is a poor trainer or has not shown the desired skill-set to flourish in a dull Sevco side.

Does he take communion?

 

If you don't give the guy a run of games we will never know if he's good enough. Regular first team football improves young players. Unfortunately there seems to be no appetite at Ibrox to give youth a chance unless it's youth brought in from the English lower league wilderness.

He'll be off to pastures new in the summer. Probably to that same wilderness.

 

He gave the ball away in midfield vs Liverpool (H) trying to play a simple pass which lead directly to Liverpool's 48th goal.

Seen Lowry do it a few times and I say this to Declan all the time too, you want to play assists or defence splitting passes but if it doesn't come off, you've given the ball away and the top players seldom lose possession. That's the difference between average and good.

If it up to some Rangers fans then we would start with McCrorie, Devine, King, Lowry, McCann(before he was sold) and Lovelace every game and any other young player who has had a decent 20 minutes for us or has come through the ranks.

McCrorie... jury out for me.
I like Devine, think he could go on and have a good career at Rangers
King - raw as a hotdog.
Lowry - thought he'd have been given more game time, the fact he's not indicated Beale doesn't rate him.
McCann - tidy enough but obviously wants first team football and he won't get that at the Old Lady.

 

I have only seen McCrorie once and he did well enough for us, but fans are still banging on now asking why is he not getting a chance. Mainly because he is ****ing injured just now, but I can't really see him being our No.1

King had a good first game for us and then was ****e.

Lowry isn't as good as people think he is.

I thought us selling McCann was a bit of a strange one actually and I was surprised we sold him. What is even stranger is him going to Forest Green who are bottom on League One so he could easily be playing League Two next season.

Lovelace, I haven't really seen much of, but thought he might get some game time because he came from Millwall and Beale and his family are Millwall fans.
