So you think it's a dive because it was voted best place to live? Weird. I don't know why you can't just explain why you think it's ****
Lived in Wales for 3 years now and some of the stories I've heard from places like Merthyr and Wrexham are just ridiculous, especially Merthyr where it sounds like anything goes as far as petty crime is concerned. So many unemployed living in these Welsh towns too, they just sit around doing **** all.
Best that I have lived in: Porthleven, harbour village in Cornwall. Worst I have lived in: Nottingham Most of the suburbs are trampy and dangerous. And Cheltenham, full of drunk students, travellers and chavs.
My memory is a bit hazey. It's been a good 15+ years since I've been there. I use to go there once a year. It didn't have much in it and my auntie's house backed on to a bloody rail way line nearly. The thing I remember most about the town is the swimming pool, the level crossing and the cricket pitch. I wouldn't label it the worst place by it is no means the best place in Britain. York's just down the road
Okay so one of you is telling porkies. Although, I do know there was a massive underground network of brothels run in Cheltenham that got busted last year. That could be either good or bad depending on your stance on prostitution...
Well parts of Cheltenham are really nice (Montpellier & Hatherley) But the for most of the parts surrounding the Town it's pretty nasty, St Pauls especially half of it has just been knocked down as it was too **** for people to live in. But as with most places it has its good and bad bits.
