Walt says "The LFC performance against Chelsea was an improvement on the game against Brighton, but Thiago in particular gave the ball away to much and Gakpo proved once again he is not a CF. I expect LFC to continue with a midfield of a mix of older players and youngsters. I think Nunez will start with Gakpo on the LW where he should be. Salah is still poor, but there is no other option. Milner should start instead of TAA, with the latter coming off the bench if fit enough. LFC fans will be hoping for a Fantasia performance, but may have to do with a more basic Steamboat Willie performance. Finally I would just like to refute the allegations I was cryogenically frozen after my death, that was Oxlade-Chamberlain and no one has noticed yet."
Sad times when we are afraid of Brighton. It is hard to believe how far we have fallen in a short time
Is this simple. Day 1 v Fulham we looked wrong and we still look wrong. Sides with a decent level of fitness and speed are goingbtomwalk through us.
We're functioning far below where our squad should be. There's a lot of talent there, just not all clicking. "Lesser" teams than us are working hard, performing smarter, and making us look mediocre.
Good fixture to show us where their minds are at. The other week was utterly embarrassing, Hopefully they care enough to put that result right.
Interesting see what team Brighton put out. Safe from relegation. Do they put all their eggs in pushing for europe or say if we finish mid table and potentially go on a good cup run that never really had. More than good enough to win it if get bit of luck with the draw.
small minded clubs know that if they beat one big fish there's just another one round the corner ready to put you out. 45 points. in the end when they hit it they relax. whether they beat us or not is irrelevant really. we are fairly **** right now so.just looking for redemption and forward to 21st Feb and having 3 players back for real Madrid. brghton will do what Brighton do, they won't be having a cup run most likely but they will go through us like a dose of salts and prob get a beating next round.
