We have had no problems with Kasper apart from at Forest where he got sent off. The ref was crap but Schmeichel shouldnt of done what he did I genuinely believe your problems are the defenders not the goalkeepers. But Rachubka is **** is was his fault
We've seen a lot of the questionable goalkeeping from Schmeichel just yesterday. If it weren't for amazing defending we'd most likely have caused a few errors. We saw one that almost resulted in a goal.
our problem is Grayson drops players from the back 4 after 1 poor performance, although I think he may have realised that doesnt work. PR is ****, proper ****, not sure even doncaster would want him! Good clean sheet yesterday, unlike LCFC though
We had it last season with Ricardo so we know how you feel. Everytime the ball is with in 50 yards of your goal you fear the worst When the ball in your box you **** yourself
We then put Chris Weale back in thinking our problem has been solved until the end of the season and we then realised he is only just better then Ricardo. Schmeichel has been quality and we have no worries with him in goal. If Kasper was as bad as you say he was at Leeds maybe he just didnt fit there. By no stretch of the imagination is he a bad keeper
We had a half decent defence until they realised Kasper made so many mistakes, then errors came in to their game too when they had lost all confidence in him.
I saw him do exactly the same as he used to when he was at Leeds yesterday. He'd look fine and in control one minute and be flapping around like a headless chicken the next. Temper tantrums and simple mistakes, poor communication with his defenders, all the things we've been telling you about for months, although even though I've just seen it all with my own eyes it's like shouting at a brick wall.
Kasper hasnt had any communication problems at all, apart from the first few games of the season he hasnt shouted at his defenders much and the Burnley goal is the only mistake i can think off
if your next manager doest handle him, the way Kasper wants to be handled, you will be in trouble with him. He's a right stroppy twat
My memories of Kasper are him looking like the best GK in the league one moment and then seeing us concede a goal because of a stupid mistake the next, followed by either yelling at whichever defender happens to be nearest or booting the ball as far and high as he possibly can. I think the problem was as much the relationship between Kasper and the defence as it was either of their faults, I do know Kasper had an awful attitude in training and the rest of the players knew it.
Nigel Pearson will have no trouble handling Kasper, anyway Mike Stowell our goalkeeping coach will stay so Kasper wont have much change
At Leeds united we have been blessed with good keepers, if we had gone from Rachubka to Kasper then he wouldve looked brilliant to us! But because the standard of keeper at LUFC is so high then they need to be special to please us fans, Kasper did please some but definately pissed others off. He cost us the Millwall and Norwich matches last season by blatent errors.
Just watched the Burnley goal you mentioned, Proud_Fox, and that's typical of what we saw from him last season.
Not as good as us Gordon Banks, Peter Shiliton, Mark Wallington but that was a long time ago, and you never really won anything then, like you still havent other than a little cup win when no one else puts proper teams out
