Brilliant win, more injuries a worry but won’t dwell on that too much, Dan Neil superb yet again could we already have Evans replacement in him? Thought michut was very good too
We made tough work of it but we deserved the three points. Boro kept at it all game. Going to take a while to unwind from that one it wasn't a comfortable watch.
Good team performance, thought Michut looked assured when he replaced Evans, so much so that we didn't really miss Corey. Amad deservedly got POTM, he and Roberts really link up well. Only negative for me was that we didn't take our chances but gladly that didn't matter in the end
Sounded like he was class today though. Id much rather see players like him than physical players like max power
Don’t you just love watching the lads play these days, lovely passing, skilful football. They all played well, thought Michut had a good game
What a pair of back to back home games very similar in many respects, the difference was for once we had a decent ref. I said I would be happy with three points from these two and thought we had blew it in the first but this was something else, my man of the match Trai Hume he is so good we have to ask why has it taken so long for the penny to drop. O a U
as already mentioned, hume was solid alongside alese and once again roberts and amad playing the ball around is always fun to watch. being honest, if that penalty and sending off was given against us i would be rightly annoyed but how many of 'those times' have gone against us. two teams wanting to play and possibly cancelling each other a wee bit, did not think it would be a classic as i dont think boro games ever are but credit to them they kept plugging away and that second goal was needed. hume for my MotM but others could easily have joined him, decent performance and i just wish we could finally have a settled team for a while, these injuries keep popping up and it must be disrupting for both players and management.
Great win pleased when that 2nd goal went in boro did well even with 10 men some good performances out there today
Can't say enough how much I enjoyed seeing the lads' fluid passing display. If only all of that talent was owned by the club instead of having loanees! Still, it speaks volumes about the club that we get to see these top future talents here. I am over the moon about our league position, can't say that at the start of the season I was expecting us to be competing for a play-off spot, especially with the manager betrayal. It feels like a long, long time since I've felt able to sit back and enjoy watching our football without worrying about our league position.
I'll be into Man U about trying to get Amad back on loan again next season. Another season of playing first team football won't do him any harm
