I can't be the only one bored with the hundred threads discussing the same thing so here's something different.

Cameron Stewart reckons on Twitter that he'll be fit for the next game at the KC, with Derby away also being mentioned. How would you line up with him being back?

Koren has been class in centre mid and I wouldn't want to shift him back out wide. If I had to choose between McKenna and Evans, then I think McKenna is the better organiser and can give Koren that freedom to dictate.

    I'd go with:

    Basso

    Rosenior Chester Hobbs Dudgeon

    Stewart Koren McKenna Brady

    Waghorn McLean

Very strong side on paper. Thoughts?

    Mclean - Fryatt

Don't see how you can drop McLean Theo, he's really picked up his form and been outstanding in the last few games.

Yeah McLean has definitely outplayed Fryatt over the last few games, and arguably all season. Fryatt looks sluggish compared with last season, and I thought we had it right when Waghorn came in and Fryatt could come off the bench later on in games.

Having said that, one of our better periods last season was with Simpson and Stewart up front together. Was that over Christmas? Wouldn't mind seeing Stewart partner McLean.

I still think Fryatt will get more goals than McLean, especially with his movement off a livewire like Stewart. McLean is a brilliant workhorse and his play outside the box has been great but his movement inside the box still really frustrates me. He could easily have had a hat trick of tap ins against Watford if he had any ability to anticipate at all.

It's always been more popular to say things like "McLean works hard, but is a League 1 striker at best." And yet when Fryatt misses 10 chances in a game we get something along the lines of "Form is temporary, class is permanent." I've set to see his class yet.

I'm maybe over simplifiying it a bit but I don't see what Fryatt's strengths are any more. We've established that he's slow and certainly isn't of the build to be a target man or hold-up player, add to that he can't shoot accurately or with any real power, and I'm beginning to think that he is more the workhorse type and McLean actually has the more talent as a striker. The only thing going for Fryatt this season is that he works hard and sometimes comes through a crowd of players with the ball when he seems more likely to lose it. That's the same as ***an...

My team would be the first one suggested on this thread. Though I'd probably swap the wingers round.

Substitute a fit Waghorn for McLean and that would be my team too (referring to posts 9 and 10) with McLean definitely ahead of the slow and under-performing (this year) Fryatt as first choice sub up front.
