Personally never understood the hype about him. Had a very good goals to minutes ratio at City when he’d come off the bench when the other team was usually losing and chasing the game, but think his stint at Leicester is more representative. Still probably be an upgrade for us but doubt he’d score that many
His goal contribution rate at Leicester is actually good. 26 goals and 17 assists in 5731 league minutes: that's a goal contribution every 133 minutes. That's significantly better than any Saints player this year (Che's at the head of the pack with a goal contribution every 237 minutes. Leicester might be unwilling to loan/sell him to a fellow relegation combatant, though, especially with Vardy looking to be cooked (understandably, he's 130 years old).
Meh, he doesn’t pass the “eye” test for me having seen him play a fair bit. Assists (and goals tbf) can be so varied in how they come about are hard to judge on stats alone. He looked pretty hopeless at Leicester when he was the main man
Has he? In the two seasons where he could be considered anything approaching the 'main man', he scored regularly, including a stretch where he had 11 goals and 2 assists in 11 matches. His xG/xA largely back it up, too: he creates a lot of dangerous opportunities for himself and others.
Yes, stats again. The games you’ve referenced, who were his supporting cast? Maddison/barnes/Vardy? I don’t know without looking it up. I’m sure someone like Adams (for example) would look good on paper playing with better players

Barnes was out for the whole stretch. Vardy, sure, and Tielemans. But not exactly a bunch of creative dynamos beyond.
Good to see Bournemouth’s new signing grabbing a shirt straight out of the wrapper for the photo shoot!
Pfft. He loves to be that guy. He lives to be that guy. Odd places for non football private flights to be coming from at this time of year but we’ve had absolutely no links to players from Lisbon (or Portugal) or Madrid. Maybe Jackson’s agent is Madrid based if he represents players all over Spain but it is a stretch
Valencia is a long way away from Madrid I really can’t see any world where Ramos leaves a team with an excellent chance of getting into the champions league quarter finals for one at the bottom of the premier league If he was even available for a reasonable price there would be lots of teams ahead of us.
I'm just stating simply who we have been linked too. Ramos I do not believe happens, just that a a flight from Lisbon and our only link.. Also, I wouldng expect a player from Villareal traveling all the way to Madrid if Valencia is closer, just seems fantasy.
Will VR sell Jackson, now Danjuma has gone? They probably won't want to now, but their finances are dire
Yeah, we're not getting a striker are we? Feel like they're laying the groundwork for that. Uttrr incompetence.
He has said that he won’t bring anyone in that won’t be an improvement on what we already have, and if we don’t get someone, he is happy to work with what he has.
