    Rangnick had no chance there… it seemed like he knew it too. Really strange appointment getting a bunch of skilful possession based footballers to be managed by the architect of gegenpress. Good luck getting pogba to run. It was like having a Mercedes’ worked on by Porsche mechanics. Same thing happened with marsch at Leipzig.

    that said, don’t know much about this guy other than he’s obviously schooled in the type of football we play… and yes American, sure that’s no coincidence

    The one interview I saw with him, was largely unintelligible and centred on him saying how great he got on with everyone at Scum… so he should fit in well with Jesse… they can chat amongst themselves about how popular they are, repeating endless meaningless sound bites, confident that everyone is working hard and buying into the plan. <laugh>

    News today is that Everton have got a loan signing in at last. Winger Danjuma to the end of the season with no buy option. He was at Bournemouth at one stage until they got relegated.

    Top US footy journalist Ben Jacobs is saying Jack Harrison is wanted by Atalanta and Ajax and mentions he still hasn’t agreed a new deal? I don’t think they would be willing to pay the price we would want for him? One to watch though

    Our squad seems a little unbalanced at the moment.

    Away at Villa for example on the bench we had 4 defenders;

    Firpo
    Llorente
    Kristensen
    Wober

    One midfielder;

    Greenwood

    3 attacking players;

    Joffy
    Bamford
    Perkins

    With Rutter & Sinisterra to come in this weekend we surely can't put so many defenders on the bench again and whilst it would seem Wober can cover midfield it's still looking very light in there.

    <doh> Looks like we’ve truly become Leeds United States when fans start talking Americanisms.

    Come on London you’re better than that <laugh> <whistle>

    With Cooper back the bench could be Ayling, Koch, Struijk and Firpo for defenders

    The padded shoulder 3rd kit should be different. Come to think of it put meslier in one for all games and maybe even bubble wrap Bamford.

    The problem with Scum last season who that Portuguese ****er. He upset the team during his time there but the Scum fans couldn't blame their messiah so they used Ole as a scapegoat. My brother in law is a scum and he begging for Ragnik last season. The whole fan base was. They should have been begging to get Ronaldo out.

    He won't benefit from playing at Wiggin. He needs to go to Sunderland or Blackburn.

    This I agree with and he has so many choices open to him, but think one of the things the club want is that he is guaranteed game time. WBA have a striker out injured for weeks and lost to top of the league Burnley last night 2-1. This still has them in the play off positions which is brilliant from bottom of the league before Corberan took over. Joffy knows Corberan too. Sunderland are pushing too for POs, Swansea, Hull and loads more. Joffy needs to force his way into the starting 11 and score goals

    In fairness Doc if only way he’s guaranteed game time is by moving to team at bottom of championship, it doesn’t say a lot about how good he is. You’d expect at this time he should be well good enough for a top six outfit

    Depends what they want for him. More to chance to play at lower club… less likely to have chances created for him. I’d have thought, formation/style of the team more important than league position if we’re planning to keep him.
