The only time I've been to Palace was 1984-ish and we lost 3-1. I remember some pisshead Palace fan with a building brick staring at my lot outside the ground
I went to Palace away under Sourness 2-1 win Kluivert and Bellamy. Felt like going back in time that ground, thought i was in the 70's or something even though i was born in 89.
The trouble usually kicked off either towards the end of the game or afterwards rather than half way through the first half.
And that was mostly with the police who thought they had free range to beat up any football fan As I found out at Barnsley and Huddersfield and witnessed at many more grounds Mid 70's to late 80' was bad but now creeping back Suppose it's never went away
During the miners strike, the old bill once stopped us in South Yorkshire thinking we were flying pickets
You know what I've never been to London in my life, been all over and seen us a handful of times with family. But never ever London. Place seems mental.
It is, i wasn't even impressed with the so called landmarks, big ben isn't even that big, houses of parliament and all that can get to ****. Give me the Tyne bridge and Grey Street anyday.
