So frustrating, we looked the better team when Tetteh and Tufan came on. But Tetteh really pissed it all away along with any momentum we had by getting sent off. At least we went toe to toe with arguably the best team in the division at home for large periods. The starting 11 really was a head scratcher though...

We lost but i thought we played well overall

Yeh I felt we might snatch a point. Soon as he was sent off the whole team was so poor with the ball.

Yup. If Bennie was going to do what he did, he should’ve put more effort into it and bust his nose or lip. At least make a violent conduct straight red worth it.

We'll play worse and get 3 points, given we were against THE form team and probably one of the best in the league, if not THE best, there's no shame in that. If we'd ha e gone 1 down after 3 minutes under Shota we'd have been in for a hammering so there's definitely improvements. Yes we've still lost but Connolly puts his chance away and who knows. Case of regroup, hold ya heads high and onto the next one. Tetteh ... hopefully learns from a mind fk moment.
Onwards we move to mid-table position, can we stop talking about a possible play-off chance this season now becuase we aren't that good yet. City will get better in the 2nd half of the season and will progress under Rosenior. A couple more transfer windows are needed to improve this squad.
We were 'chasing' for 95% of the game..
We pressed them well, had them under the cosh, and dominated possession for spells on their home turf, I thought it was an excellent performance. Connolly looked bright and clearly got under their skins, and should have done better with the chance he had first half. Outside of their goal and maybe 1-2 other chances, we kept clamps on them quite well.
Naive all round.
