Thats if he proves he can play to the same level as he was before the injury. Sometime people dont return as the same player
Thats something Nigel will be confident about or he wouldnt come back That was the reason why O'Neill wouldnt come back as he didnt want to risk his rep But O'Neill had nothing to gain as he got us winning trophies, in europe and top half of the prem. He couldnt come back and get us any further or to that level but Pearson still can improve by getting us in the prem
I never said i didnt want him back. He wasnt my first choice but i would take him over Lee Clark, Roy Keane or anyone else
Yeah it wasn't long ago they were slagging him off! To be fair thats football and there will probably be a lot of our fans slagging him off in a few wekks
I never said that. All is said about not going back is I dont think MON should come back as he took us as far as possible NP could still take us further then what he did before
I have never slagged Pearson off and all proper Leicester fans didnt either. He took us when we was at our lowest in the league 1 and made us a competitive team we could be proud to support again. When Pearson was here quite often the fans would sign "We got our Leicester back" Pearson was loved by the vase majority of fans and if that wasnt the case he would even consider coming back here
Everyone on here for the past 18 months has been giving it "Nigel's OK ... at a small club". What would a massive club like Leicester want with such a man? Surely someone as limited as Nigel won't achieve much?
funny you should say that. just had a call from a mate down south who has said that O'Neil rejected the Foxes due to the owners demands and how they work. Now if NP does go try and get MON ? I AGREE THAT WOULD BE FUNNY. also, how ironic it would be if hull city were to meet leicester city @ wembley in the play-off final.?
Won League 1 and finished 5th Doesnt matter what club or who the manager is that is a good achievement
Why are you telling us that? We know which is why we pinched him in the first place. It's only "fans" of "massive club Leicester City" who think otherwise.
We all knew O'Neill was never going to come back. He would of got us promoted no doubt but after that everyone would of wanted us winning trophies, back in europe and finishing in the top 8 of the prem again That would never happen again. There is only so much one man can do with a club Yes if he wanted to job i would of given him it and would of been delighted I never said never wanted him back, just said i dont think HE should
imo, NP may loose there respect if he goes. Leicester City is a very un-sable ship at the moment with much pressure from the Thai owners. By getting Warron Joyce back here to the club as an example that would be a massive cue and help.
