please log in to view this image Another F1 race, another terrible Tilke circuit. This day-night race has spectacular scenery but the previous races here have produced hardly any overtaking, little excitement, the same winner and heartache. These changes should have been made, but hopefully Pirelli and KERS should make this race watchable. DRS looks like it will ruin the race. It's an enjoyable drive on F1 2010 / 2011 though........ turn 2,3 and 4 with little wing has you hanging onto the edge of the track
To play safe I will go for a Vettel win. As I have not been doing well in the rankings for some time, I decided to put my efforts into the 2012 season some time ago.......
I've gone for Hamilton, purely because I thought... why not hey It seems to be a circuit that suits McLaren and Hamilton has gone well here in the past.
So after 16 races I eventually sold out and voted for Vettel and doubled my score for the season. I will again sell out and vote for Vettel again.
Sometimes you have to question the common sense of the FIA. Any overtake at Turn 1 in Korea resulted in the driver being re-passed at turn 3 Almost all overtakes at Turn 1 in India resulted in the driver being re-passed at turn 4 Prediction: All overtakes at turn 8 on Sunday will result in the driver being re-passed at turn 11 They should get rid of DRS
I don't want to vote for Vettel but I really can't see anyone else coming close to him at Abu Dhabi. Hope I'm wrong.....
LOL. I've yet to vote, but my 5 points are all Seb related, so I guess that's fairly telling of where m vote will go.
Gone for Vettel, just can't see anyone else winning especially when you look at sector 3. Red Bull teritory.
I haven't checked the weather forecast, but assuming it's dry I assume it's Red Bull's to lose. According to Christian Horner they have two world class drivers and there is no favourtism in the team. As everything he says is factually correct, I see this as a 50-50 between Webber and Vettel, and I've gone for the Aussie.
I don't believe anything he says. I hate the man and I really don't know what he does for the team except congratulate Vettel after a win or pole. He loves being on TV and he is a sly human being!
Pirelli will test the 2012 soft tyre in Practice: http://en.espnf1.com/f1/motorsport/story/63573.html
To those thinking that It'll be an easy Vettel win, the circuit should suit McLaren and more specifically, Hamilton.
