    So...let's reflect.

    The robber Baron Dapper Dermot Desmond and two of his Irish Oligarch mates buy out the Bunnet. They then sell their shiny new stadium, their only real asset, to Willie Haughey for the princely sum of 1000 UK pounds. Willie who became incredibly wealthy in the 80s and 90s when his company City Refrigeration inexplicably managed to secure massive Glasgow City Council contracts to maintain Glasgow huge social housing stock.

    Celtic then go to the Co-Op bank where they have received favourable treatment in the past and secure a 34 million pound loan using a stadium they no longer own as collateral. Using some the Co'operative dough they buy land adjacent to Celtic park from GCC.

    Some folk cry foul and say Celtic are receiving state aid by getting this land on the cheap. But no, the EU investigate and it actually turns that CFC have paid almost double the market value of said land. Luckily though they simultaneously managed to secure almost unheard of permission to destroy a 19th century listed building from GGC and turn it into a carpark.

    All above board but.

    I have enjoyed the inclusion of Welsh and Irish teams in the Challenge Cup. The football's ****e, of course, but a pan-British Isles Cup would be good.
