Hot off the press ( My own personal source - err Me erm I've made it up) Ok no credibility in the thread but neither have any of the others at the moment. Keep the faith, Nigel claims to be a man of integrity, expects that of others so why should we expect him to throw away all he claims to be? If he goes then he's clearly not being true to his own standards and if that's the case we are better off without him! If he does demonstrate the integrity he claims to have and stays then the club and fans and players should do likewise! A new contract, financial backing and loyal support.
Lol cruel way to title your thread!.If he does go and am sure he will as he wouldve spoke out by now,why dont we more or less write this season off and employ a manager on a 6month rolling contract until Nigel is ruthlessly sacked(wont be long, perhaps feb/mar) then reinstate him?!.
To be honest, my concern is more for Steve Walsh. He has been absolutely fantastic for us and has pretty much found 80% of our signings, and if NP leaves, so does Walsh. I'm also worried that a new manager may simply abandon the whole youth setup we've got going on. Exciting times to depressing times all in the matter of a week. Unbelievable.
If we're looking at youth, then despite what went on at Forest, McLaren may be the best choice, did well with young players at Boro. Plus still has strong links with Man U, which both Brown and Pearson have shown not to be a bad thing.
Wasn't a lot of Leicester fans feelings the same RE Walsh? Honestly if NP was staying i would have expected something from him by now, fair enough no response to rumours but now we know we have been approached for him.
Agreed. I think NP is just as important as his assistants but this line totally sums my feelings on it up.
The players are doing the business on the pitch so there's no reason why we cannot keep getting results
