I have had a word with Marvin who said

" Why are Biscan/MITO moaning again, I knew the game was at Anfield and I am a bloody robot. There is just no pleasing some people, it makes me so depressed but no one ever cares about me. I am off for a lie down, but that will probably go wrong as well".

    Well see there's your issue.

where precisely did I moan at anyone about the game venue. I merely expressed an opinion on protecting bajcetic but get called a moaner when in fact many other get off scot free.

there's some proper whingy ****s on here that never get called out but if I dare express opinion I get alled moaner.

look, whatever else brighton are they are no mugs and so the fee will be significant but yes OK you are right it's probably more like 80mil they will seek so hands up from me.

if bajcetic is worth 80mil to us in 2 years I'll be delighted, which was my point:)

Well we.might agree.on that but Brighton are setting the price and have the example of that left full who was utterly over priced to go by.

chelsea paid for cucurella and fofana and others as well that were nowhere near the fee so if I were Brighton I'd start there and see what comes.

Early on, so was Gerrard. And wasn't Carra midfield in the youth teams?

Brighton aren’t short of a few Bob either.

    White 50m
    Cucurella 60m
    bissouna 25m
    trossard 25m
    Maupay 15m
    Burn 15m

Thats in the last 2 years. Spent a decent whack of it but mainly on young players a few of which are loaned out

    Absolutely rinsed some clubs there.

Bissouma was a disappointing price but the **** brought it on himself

The more I watch Caicedo, the more I think he would be worth the 75m price tag. This kid has it all, and then some.

It sounds like we're prioritising all of our funds on Jude which means we will most likely miss out on Caicedo. Which is a shame because I think he is needed far more than Jude.

But overall, if we are to spend £100m on Jude - I think there are better ways to spend that money on 2-3 really good options who may not be as good as Jude but would have more impact on our team.

Looks like the club are banking on Jude having a VVD level impact on our team.

    but any better than bajcetic?

    this is the question.

    why?

I look at some cheslea fans and everyone they are building is gods gift and must have bit 3 month later and they are **** and they need the next player.

    so the question is;

is caicedo really so much better at 21 now than bajcetic might be in a years time?

do we really need a 75mil buy when we have a 250k players who's just as good?

oh and Bellingham... he fits klopp model of high pressure, box to box pressing up and dynamic running. this is your Henderson replacement.

who really knows what is going on. it could be that we find this nunes **** is actually real.and he ends up doing this?

imo we need to just think if we already have a good solution for no 6 with this kid. I recall angst over trent and gomez sharing rb for one season and then trent is the man and we are away. is caicedo the no 6??

then rcm is an eyesore so bellingham is the solution?

the lcm situation then, are they an lcm like winjnaldum or a double pivot and a second 6? who will this be? (not one of our current crop can do this imo)

I would see Caicedo as the long term LCM but you can develop him as a 6 as well. His defensive capability is unreal - he looks like a better version of Gini. And what has impressed even more this season is his ability on the ball. The lad can pass - may not Thiago level but he is confident under pressure.

You're right - we would be bringing in Caicedo as that dynamic ball winner - the pitbull, and I suppose they are a dime a dozen. The other names mentioned are Kone from the Bundesliga and Kephren Thuram from Ligue 1. If money was no object, then I would love Caicedo though as he has the highest ceiling.

Bajetic definitely looks classy as the 6 and I look forward to seeing him develop.

    So

    Bellingham Bajcetic Caicedo

I don't know if we'll pony anything but it could look like

Nunes Bajcetic Thiago next season :(
