Looks like the doors wide open for the dodgy bastard who was at Notts County - could be looking at a bad case of frying pan and fire!
I was talking to a couple of mates in pub last weekend; both were of the opinion going pop and starting again in the National League North (where they believe they're heading whatever happens) with the two local businessman as owners wouldn't be the end of the world - it's a **** time for them; crap owners eh? Who'd have em?
They would be far further down the pyramid than NLN with any new club. They still get decent attendances for all the crap they've gone through, and I wish them well.
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/64341410 If this is modern football fans then maybe our own piss weak self-entitled home support can be justified wetting the bed at half a dozen passes through defence. 4 titles out of 5 and they're booing a bad half. I mean how would this generation cope with what we went through in the 90s/00's - or what Wrexham, York, gremsby, scunts and most other non sheikh owned clubs have been through. Gotta wonder, ffs!
Manchester Samaritans have just moved their portable office from Old Trafford to City’s ground. They don’t know where to permanently leave it.
Thing about Man City fans is like all successful clubs, they inevitably attract fair-weather fans who have only ever seen them win titles and trophies. They still have those fans who remember the days in the Championship and playing at Maine Road. Because their success is fairly recent (last ten years), I wonder if there’s some tension between the old guard and newer fair-weather fans.
