Based on the rumours floating around what would people see as a good end to the window? And do we think there will be any outgoings from the first team squad. As in - realistic ones. Not the usual answer of getting Walcott’s wages off the books I guess it would be good to see incomings of Jackson, a DM (this Lecce captain looks promising), a central Striker and right back cover (although that has gone quiet) Those incomings probably would allow us to send AMN to free up wage budget if required. Assuming it is possible because it doesn’t seem like it was possible for Villa to send Bednarek back. Maybe Mara can go on loan if we bring in a striker as well as Jackson and Orsic. We already rejected that idea but that was probably due to it being too early in the window One thing that intrigues me about stocking up on left sided attackers is what happens when Tella comes back. I wouldn’t be surprised if the aim is for Burnley to want him permanently
Isn't MLG the Saints scout for Football Manager? Will be interesting to see if Juan Larios is Juan Larios on FM….
I think he is and Juan Larios appears as Juan Larios. He also listed Aribo as a double barrelled as he officially is but is never listed that way. Those two observations where too much for him I think
I don't envy SR over this. If we get relegated, and West Ham survive with Ings, I would expect a fair chunk of our fan base to really criticise SR. Regardless of whether it's fair or not (eg even with Ings, we could well still go down - and even without Ings, West Ham could well stay up).
Oh God this would be horrible. We're talking about a player here whose level is sub Carillo. Probably the worst US forward I've ever seen play for us (which is saying something) and he only got on the World Cup team because he's good friends with Pulisic. He's a lazy player who's only redeeming quality is he can score against lower talent.
Valued at £3.2m on transfermarkt, his value until a desperate PL club buy him. Hopefully we'll be priced out, we are desperate, but (fortunatley in this case) cheap!
This. IIRC Danny Butterfield scored a hat trick for Palace (can't remember the match) from right back but if I were a Palace supporter I wouldn't have been pushing him to start up top.
No he didn’t. He scored one goal against them. Not a hat-trick. And the game was basically a dead rubber since City won the first leg 3-0.
