There’s a film of a 1973 Carole King concert in Central Park coming soon (Feb 8th I think) on Coda Collection, which you can get through Amazon Prime etc. It looks amazing I imagine some will be able to access it through various routes, but at moment they’re doing a free trial for Coda anyway.
It’s a new Netflix film with Rory Kinnear playing the lead part ,it’s got a mixed bag of reviews and has been described as a reimagining of the story.
I watched it with my eldest last weekend. I thought Ralph Fiennes was really good, as was Anya Taylor Joy as you say, but props also to Nicholas Hoult for making a bit of a tosspot believable (until it got daft at the end). We did spend quite a lot of it discussing whether it was a thriller or a horror film though, which suggests it didn’t hold our attention as well as it could have done. Worth a watch though
Wasn’t convinced, thought it was going to be another walking dead, I’m going to give it longer. If anyone has Apple TV Slow Horses is excellent, as is Yellowstone on Paramount
Another one who's just watched it today. Enjoyed it. Nice 'feel good for a couple of hours,, and with some good music. And yes, there really is a Bank of Dave!
Couldn't find "Bank of Dave" on Netflix over here so watched the new seaon of "Fauda" instead (Season 4 - 10 Episodes).. Probably the last season as the main character (Doron) was killed in the final episode. Always a good watch if you can keep track of who's Israeli and Palestinian (Hamas, Hezbollah). I'll miss it....great series!!
