i reckon mcclaren would be more likely as director of football with a brief on developing an academy amongst other things. Manger - Warren Joyce/Solsjar ticket for me

Isn't there an option on a clause that exiting managers can't get a player from the previous club for x amount of time? I'm thinking Parky was tied to something similar by Colchester?

There was such a clause put in place when we agreed the compo with Colchester, I assume we would do the same.

AGREED. Rosie may also play a massive apart now. If i were one of these kids and Nigel leaves i would tell him to fu man chew and do one. They must feel let down already ? But life goes on. Look at the M5 & M6 situation and that puts all football issues into the shadows.

Hopefully there's a good enough camraderie in the squad to keep it together, with the millions Leicester have spent do they really need to come sniffing round our players? If they don't go up this season i'd be more worried about losing them next summer than in January.

Depends if he actually does go there and whether he wants a few familiar faces around him or not.

Would he take Shakespeare and the other back room staff and all you reckon?

I expect Shakespeare and co to go IF Pearson takes the job, i'm just hoping we can retain the key members of our playing squad. Though admittedly it does **** up the Waghorn situation.

Waghorn doesn't bother me. Not convinced he's the answer to our problems. We need a real goal poacher.

Be a shame to lose the scouting unit, hope we can keep hold of them. Don't think any of our players are irreplaceable, the price should be triple the going rate though.

I think he'd defo look at those 2 but he'd have to pay £3million for the pair minimum. Surely he'd be keen on Rosie too, his absolute best signing for us by a million miles.

We dont need defenders so dont worry

The only position Nigel will need to come back for is wingers if you have any decent ones. As we are crying out for width as we only have Lloyd Dyer who is a winger and you cant play with 1 wingers as it doesnt work

Actually you can and it does, so long as you have the rest of your midfield set up accordingly with correct players. Need someone in a midfield free role.

We dont have any system in the midfield

Danns has been ****, King has done **** all for 6 months, Abe is too easily bullied, Johnson isnt mobile enough and always injured, Fernandes hasnt been involved since Sven left so we dont know if we wants out now Sven gone, Richie Wellens is isolated as all the players around him arent performing and Oakley is pasted it and Moussa isnt good enough

1 winger doesnt work when you have all that going on

<laugh> sounds like the mass recruitment inevitably backfired. I'd play a 3 man midfield of Danns, Wellens and King possibly with Abe just infront, or 3 strikers. Consitency will get them playing together, it takes time to learn each other. Hence why it's almost impossible to buy instant success..
