If we have a defensive coach on the books he should be done under the trade description act.....simply poor which ever way you look at it....clean the swamp <steam>

I think we were fortunate to get their first goal overturned. How did that Cardiff team get two yet alone nearly three

I was impressed with Wober I didn’t think I would be but we were obviously worse when he went off. I really hope Orta has a LB up his sleeve

Attack we’ve an abundance of talent. Harrison has discovered his position in this team, Adams is a rock, I’m not convinced about Roca but maybe he’s the one that allows Adams to shine

LB is still of upmost urgency, CB we are still short and Aaronson is disappointing, maybe Rutter will take his position

Someone said on here a few days ago that we we needed to score more than 2 goals to win a game. They were right tonight! Sadly. Even a struggling team trying to avoid relegation to L1 can do it. Happy though I am with the win, I'm sulking at the crap defence once again instead of turning cartwheels.

And Firpo must surely have convinced his most loyal fan that he's crapper than crap.

Yep Jesse out. Keeps putting these defenders onto the pitch and making them
    Make mistakes.

Just wondering ... how would this match have turned out if it had been them that scored in the first minute instead of us?

Roy Keane said people need to stop being silly about Gnonto and let him develop naturally. You can see he has tons of potential but at 19 he just needs to be enjoying his game for Leeds, 2-3 good games doesn’t mean you should walk into a Man City team, insinuating Neville’s comments were silly

Firpo is utterly useless he’s frightened of the ball at his feet and can’t wait to get rid anywhere will do

    We scored 5 (five)
    We have willy,
Built like a boxer, feet of a dancer, feisty Italian and shoots like Yeboah.
Bamford is back, Rodrigo scores again, sini on his way back.
    Glass half full for me.

I used to barrack Ian Harte for thinking that the halfway line was the finish line. Firpo thinks he's got to balance on the same halfway line for 90 mins.

Same as Llorente, when JM took Adams off we didn't have as much bite in MF and when Wober went off it left Llorente and Firpo on the left. Neither of them wanted the ball.
Kristensens best game for us. I hope it's not just because of the opposition.
We got away with it because we had a strong team first half.

Wober injured so he plays a right footed RB at LCB and it’s the exact position we concede from, I’m unsure if he should have swapped with Llorente but for the goal that’s where he found himself

He needs to fix the LB position now, it’s painful, Firpo lack of defending and getting turned inside out was where the second came from

Attacking wise no complaints but Ayling for Wober was wrong.

Jesse after the game said Sinisterra getting injured was what gave Summerville a chance. Summerville getting injured meant Gnonto is getting a chance.

That concerns me as Gnonto is the engine and excitement that’s getting everyone going, he probably wouldn’t be in the team if it were not for injuries

… and Roy is right…plus teams will have a plan for him. But he’s still a cracking little player, and if they’re watching him then there’s room elsewhere - because his all round game and football brain are good - he’ll still bring others into the game

if your left footed centre back is injured and you play your other left footed centre back and he gets injured. What are you supposed to do? Take your point though that Llorente came with the rep of being able to play both sides.

I also agree I prefer wober at cb… and we need a left back still.

As for gnonto. Sinisterra looked great, and scored goals, Summerville looked great and scored goals. Given he was an 18 year old new to the country I’ve no beef with how Willy’s been introduced. He wasn’t originally bought for the first team. The lad has done great, was given his chance and has taken it.

I’d like to see him one side, Harrison through the middle and sinisterra on the other. But then I’d like to see Jimmy and Georgie too. Paddy or rod?

Fook knows who plays if we ever get them all fit.

meanwhile at the other end of the pitch…..

Gnontos 1st goal will get the headlines but the goal of the game was his 2nd goal. Sublime team move.
