Good gives us time to bed new players in and get some fit. Have to beat Cardiff first though.

Dan Noxon the Youtuber (yes not the greatest source) is claiming that certain players have gone to the board to ask them to sack Marsch.

I think the players going to the board thing started with an article in the express. Personally, I think these player’s deciding to speak to the board is unlikely. I think the board using their existing player relationships to sound out what the players think is more likely.

We Heard this stuff in the last days of MB. I hope it wasn’t true then, I hope it’s not true now. Mutinies don’t sit well, even if they think he’s a fool. The board should have ears close enough to the dressing room to not require it.

As for the express list of alternatives.

    postecoglu
    Bielsa
    Dyche
    Benitez

So… the guy who’s fervent attacking style leads to his side getting plaudits and heavy defeats in equal measures (sound familiar) - the guy they sacked a year ago - and two dinosaurs.

No, I could never want us to lose. Contrary to what you all might think after my recent posts, I’d be delighted if Jesse can turn this around as it means we’re being successful. However, I have lost complete belief in him and his ability.

Agree with you, never buy a player on the back of a good World Cup.

Wonder what the priorities will be for deciding which club to loan Joffy to. For me it needs to be a team where he’s on the team sheet every game in a team that plays football through the lines and supplies balls into the forwards. The bean counters will probably want a club that can pay a loan fee and pay his wages

well you would hope it’s a side that plays a ‘similar’ style to us, and where we have some kind of assurances about game time. I doubt the latter is practical if the side in question is in a promotion or relegation battle… which is most of the championship. So at least some due diligence on what other options the side has available would help. Ie not like cresswell to millwall where the club captain plays his position <confused>

Training, looked more like a stroll in the park, on 39 seconds there is even a player on their mobile phone, why are they allowed inside the gym.

Forums, players and staff need to physically join and visit if they wish to read what the general feeling is. Once it starts hitting social platforms like Twitter it’s appearing on news feeds whether you’re searching for it or not.

I’d hope the board replaces Jesse because they have lost faith and they feel the team is underperforming, I’d hope they wouldn’t do it simply to appease the Twitter mob

Hope its someone in top half of championship. Waste of time sending lads to league 1 and 2. Hopeless standard, and unlikely to develop much. Might as well ship them to league of Ireland as that

both Blackburn and Sunderland play 4231 so in theory that fits- but if you’re looking at main striker role, Sunderland play Stewart there. Blackburn seem to play Brereton on the left mainly so maybe main striker role is maybe more up for grabs.

flip side, sunderland had simms recalled to Everton, so are a guy down… though apparently trying to get him back again. <confused>
