You say he failed, but how many more managers are you going to blame for failure, I see this so many times in football, none more so than my own club, ten managers in ten years, all shouting for Harris out, but now we've got a new owner, everyone loves the club again - so the answer is there staring you in the face, it's not the manager(s) that's the problem, it's the owner. It's a shame to see, because I don't dislike Spurs, but Spurs fans like all club fans, are so fickle these days. But you carry on sacking and firing managers, you won't win a trophy until Kane leaves, and if he carrys on until Ronaldo's age, you've got another decade of ****te.
They charged the geezer who kicked the Arsenal keeper...35 yrs old... how do you get to 35 and not figure that A. You dont attack people cos your team lost? B. You cant get away un noticed when there are 20 plus tv cameras in a stadium cctved up to its eyeball? ffs the stupidity of some is shocking
I know the problem isn’t just the managers, the owners need to decide what they want and be honest. If they want to make money and finish 4th-6th then that’s their prerogative but fans won’t accept that (especially when the prices are so expensive) As for Kane, I think he’s gone in the summer as he won’t sign a new deal (don’t blame him) and Spurs would rather get a fee than let him leave on a free
Mate, I've spent my life supporting a pub team, it's not all bad, just mostly If you want to support a league winning club, then Spurs is not for you.
Reminds me of the skate fan who punched a police horse a few years back. Imagine being in your 50s and having to tell your children that you're going to prison for punching a defenceless animal.
Not even league winning but at least be entertaining. Spurs came close around 2017-19 to winning both the league and the CL. Since then they’ve mostly gone backwards and don’t even play attractive football or look like they have any plan and seem to have managers that sound depressed every press conference.
You spent a billion quid on a stadium, does it really surprise you? Even with my club owner having a billion to his name, I'd still worry how we were are to fund a £30 million stadium, there is no profit at turnstiles, once you get into the reality of financing a football club, them days are long gone, on ridiculous wages and transfer fees, Jimmy Hill (wages) and Brian Clough (a million on Francis) have a lot to answer for what they started.
Just some sort of cohesive plan would be nice. I don’t see why ENIC appoint proven managers but then expect them to change their entire approach to suit Spurs, I also think the managers shouldn’t accept the job if all they’re going to do is moan about needing expensive players all the time though.
Managers can't compete that's why, because of the gravy train at the top, that has now cascaded down to as far as the National League. You need to be a billionaire to own a Prem club and a millionaire anything lower than that. Two bob chairman, such as we had (joke) can't keep clubs afloat anymore, look at the National League as an example, it's become a league club graveyard. I've probably been to half of those clubs in the NL, when they use to be top four division teams. It's sad to watch, because after that they either become North/South NL teams or fold - my club was on the brink of folding, I have no evidence of that, but it didn't take a rocket scientist to work out. So when fans cry why are we not winning anything, this manager is useless, be grateful you even exist, that billionaire stadium, could just as easy sent you under.
Wolves playing some lovely stuff at the moment and with Liverpool resting a few it's a tough game to call really.
