We played it the game after (Hudds) and it was a car crash though. I don't think that's any sort of reasonable solution.

It was terrible in the game after. Wigan are hardly a good benchmark for something working

Fair points, but TBH my beef isn't about the players. Its more about the club management, who lack the dark arts.
    a. Away side is allowed to warm up next to their fans which creates a nice cosy atmosphere. City should warm up at the north end, not the south.
    b. No music when coming out.
    c. No music after goals. I'm not a huge fan of goal music, but it can have an advantage.
    d. Ball boys and girls not coached, unlike some other clubs...The blunts spring to mind. Slow the return of the ball if they're hanging on. Even throw two balls on at once to delay the game and reduce momentum. Quicken the pace if on top and/or desperate for a goal.
The MKM is not intimidating. There's a reason why the MKM is sometimes voted as one of the best away days!!!!! Sad as it may be we're too fecking nice.

Remember when Jak used to tell the North Stand to keep the ball...

    Exactly....
I recall been at Stoke when there keeper (Simonsen) bollocked a ball boy for throwing the ball on too quickly. They were hanging on against us. Told him to 'slow the feck down'. Its the dark arts...

Luton are masters at the dark arts. Even down to having huge loudspeakers in the away end playing Luton songs and broadcasting very loud Luton information every five minutes. The ball boys there do not return the ball to the opposing team either and they are masters of the 'throwing two balls on the pitch' ruse when under pressure. There is a reason we are a soft touch at home and B@S points out some of the reasons why.
I'd like to know why we had police stood amongst the crowd in North Stand yesterday. You don't see this anywhere else. This started on the South Stand terrace at Boothferry Park years ago and it always deadened the atmosphere.
The 'dark arts' of football were going to be one of the subjects I wanted discussing at the recent Supporters meeting, but my invitation was pulled at the last minute.

It's points like this that make complete sense... the good thing is we have an owner who is inclined to listen and if he was made aware I'm sure something would be done about it.. I bet he's well versed in this type of 'we're at home' mentality from Turkey... you're right... we are too nice!@!@!

Some good points in there but I don't understand how goal music could be advantage. I'm quite proud that we've never had goal music except for that one game where the club tried it, it got booed and was never seen again.

Yeah fair point. Really we don't have a good option for that side currently so it's about finding the least worst solution.

It's about time Rosenior realised that medical qualifications and day to day involvement with players doesn't make someone more of an expert on who's fit enough to start games than random blokes on fans' message boards. Although we should probably also check some City fans' Facebook groups in case they have a different view.

I just don't understand how this has become such a narrative and genuine argument that we should be throwing injured players in to play 90 minutes. We've literally just seen what happens when we do that with Ally.

Murat Ulker (5 billion net worth) was guest of Acun for the game. Wonder if Acun is seeking further investment

Well he’s kitted out already. Involvement from him was rumoured at the start but who knows whether that was true…

I know he was rumoured to be a backer initially, would be interesting if he become involved in some capacity as that's a huge safety net behind our spending.

Nope, he was injured and undergoing rehab for a few months. After this period he was fit to start a match in which he sustained an injury. Of course you could know something the management team, and medical staff, didn't.
Abridged version, he was not injured at the start, or in the days prior to, the match in which he sustained his present injury. :emoticon-0100-smile
