Name one way (league position aside) that Leicester are a step backwards from Hull.

We have the potential to have a better team. Players like Nugent, Wellens, Abe, King, Mills, Bamba, Pantsil, St Ledger, Vassel, Konchesky, Peltier and (maybe) Beckford are better players than their Hull counterparts. If Pearson joins and if he can get them playing then we'll have one of the strongest teams in the division.

A lot of ifs there, though. Granted.

If you'd like another example, it's definitely a step backwards in terms of job security(if you don't go up, he'll almost certainly be sacked in the summer).

We all know Leicester have a good group of individuals, that's all we've been hearing for the past 3-5 months. But Vassell, St Ledger and Peltier? Well, I wouldn't be paying my money to watch them if I was a Leicester fan. <rofl>

St Ledger... perhaps not. The other two, for sure. They're great players.

Depends on your definition of great. I certainly wouldn't class Vassell as great.

    Peltier has been quality.

Him Nugent, Bamba and Schmeichel have been our best players so far

Who are you gonna have to whinge at if he does go? With Leicester siging the players they did in the summer and having the potential to splash out on more experienced Championship, lower PL players then i expect them to keep away from our players for now anyway.

Abe, King, I'd take Koren and Cairney over that pair any day. Pantsil and Peltier? Rosenior better than both. Chester is a million miles the player St. Ledger is. Vassel is a donkey, Beckford can be debated, the jurys still out on him as it is here with McLean and Fryatt. I would say you have a slightly better squad on paper, but the potential for ours with the way they're developing could go way ahead.

Depends if he goes there and wants people he knows and trusts, and who trust him in return.

    Right Vassell is crap

St. Ledger is good enough for back up but Mills and Bamba are best 2 centre halfs in the league

    Nugent is quality

King needs a kick up the arse like Danns and Fernandes do

    Wellens is quality

But i dont think Nigel will like Beckford, we may have a simaliar situation with Beckford like we had with DJ Campbell

No one left to whinge at matey, you know my opinion of the said two players. Whoever (or IF it happens) comes in with his own players , then we see.

Let me ask you a question , if he was allowed. Would Pearson come back and try and buy Hobbs and Fryatt?

    My answer would be 'NO'

Proud, this is a post for the Leicester board, we're not interested in the merits or otherwise of your current squad.

I dont think Nigel would come back in for Hobbs and Fryatt. They have signed for Hull not Nigel Pearson for starters, they would have stayed here if they was playing every week

Plus we have Mills and Nugent who are better then them

You heard of James Chester? Probably not. You will have in a year or two. Far better footballer than either of those two. Laughable to call them the best two centre halfs in the league when they've never played in the Premiership. If I were in the market for a centre back, I wouldn't be going to those two.

Bamba has played at a world cup and Mills has played a few games in the prem with Man City

Bamba and Mills are the best centre halfs in the league at the minute
