Delicate balance, if you’re trying to sign a player and competing with other clubs getting on the wrong side of agents isn’t helpful. Need to pay going rate without getting ripped off. If a club encourages players to dump their agents then few in their right minds would go near us.
Mental that the agents fee isn't paid by the player they represent only. A rule change there would go a long way to fixing football.
It's a FCA law thing been around for years. Loads hated Methven but he stopped all agents commission paid direct, he had a way of it coming out of the salary. I think its still in place.

fella you get into some circles I give you that. I don't see the RS deal taking much longer at all, even though his agent has tried to drag it out for as long as possible. Not concerned about it now.

Is KLD less involved day to day now than he’d been? not concerned by that, he was always way more hands on than I expected and it’s only natural once the building blocks were in place that he could trust them to get on with it
