The squad isn’t good enough and the board can’t/won’t splash the cash for proven players so it’s just signing potential and hoping they come good.

Spurs are a mess. Kane has wasted his career there chasing meaningless records.

 

This argument bores me. Kane is part of the squad and not blameless for Spurs losing finals and semi finals.

 

Hopefully non boring and ridiculously defensive football coupled with selection brainfarts like picking Sessegnon over Perisic and leaving Spence out of the squad instead of one of the two donkeys he persists with.

 

The issue you have with that is the players you’ve brought in under Jose and conte are those type of players. I reckon you get simeone next or it requires a massive overhaul

No they ain’t, that’s why the overly defensive football doesn’t work, as we’ve primarily got attack-minded players. Last season we attacked and counter attacked and it worked, this season we just sit back and wait to lose.
