Pearson has gone, I'm gutted as I said several times I think last season might be the best performance by a City manager ever, so it's time to move on.

I know he's ridiculed cos of Forest but I think it'll be McLaren. The difference is he's a 'City man'. I'd gladly take Dave Jones, Davies whinges too much and blames other people for his failings. And I know people always mock but surely George Graham has to manage again sometime....he's the most misunderstood manager of his generation.

isnt O Leary still part of the Harrogate set? I d like to see Ole Gunner (doodahh) in some assistant role as a break into management for him

A McLaren/Barmby combo wouldn't upset me to much. Without googling. I don't know enough about George Graham to comment. Any meat to add on that one?

I too would welcome Mclaren, he was dealt a **** hand at Forest and a move back to a club he has an affiliation with might be what he need to restore his reputation in this country. Di Matteo would be fantastic but I can't see it happening, Davies is a no go (as is Dowie, Megson will stay at the Wendies) but I wouldn't turn my nose up at Dave Jones. Steve Coppell perhaps?

Robbins. O Driscoll perhaps. Although I have to admit, I wonder if I could really support a name whose brothers play such an important part in only fools and horses

I'd be happy with Dave Jones, Steve McLaren, Sean O'Driscoll, Lee Clark, Nick Barmby (with an older head alongside) or Arsene Wenger.

I can't see any info anywhere indicating that NP has left the club. Until its public stuff like this is wide of the mark.

Y'know, I'm not sure he's, y'know, got the brain power, y'know, for the job, y'know.

I have a lot and time and respect for Dave Jones. If you look at his club record it's virtually second to none in % wins.

Yeah, but the small % of losses tend to come in play off finals and in other crucial games.

He's not a bad shout though, and to be blunt, I wouldn't be too committed to my job if I had to do it in Cardiff either.

I am stunned he has gone back after being booted out just a year ago.
More surprised Leicester wanted him back as it was on the back of a horrible run of results that they sacked him!

    I know that!

But he hasn't worked since though, so the job I was referring to was the one he did in Cardiff.
