It was just a badly timed tackle, just as we were kicking off about not getting a penalty. These things happen but he will be a massive miss the next few games.
It was a bad error in judgement and badly timed. Zero need to make it there. A centre back has zero need to be diving in like that on the half way line.
If Stroud or the Lino, had ****ing eyes, the O’Nien challenge wouldnt have happened. I would have accepted the red card had he brandished it immediately, why did he have to wait until he was swayed after being surrounded by their players, which by the way a certain club has been fined for that in the past. If he thought it was a red card offence, it’s an immediate decision. There was a clear foul on Stewart before the second goal and he looked over to his linesman, why? Other than that the useless little **** had a great game if you are a Swansea fan
I agree but plenty do it and plenty will do it in the future, timed right and that would have got the whole crowd wound up and bouncing. Unfortunately it wasn’t timed right. We move on and as Mowbray has stated this game is going in the bin.
I wonder if he is scared of getting done by a fast player and it leads to rash challenges. If I don’t tackle him now then he’s gone, type of thing. At least one of his iffy challenges earlier in the season was in a similar situation.
Yep. Think it was at least partly a reaction to a ref who was already giving them every fifty fifty. Shocking ref that. He even crept out slowly behind the linos after half time. Not fit for the Northern League.
I was at the game and I didn't think it was a red for O'Nien, yes it was a bad challenge but his action gave the referee a decision to make and his decision was that it was a red card.
Pathetic bunch of sheep shaggers. Imagine being from such a **** country that you have to play football in England
I imagine I'll get pelters for this, but what the **** was with the mass exodus on 78 mins? I get that people were frustrated at being 1-3 down, but those lads ran their hearts out today and deserved 40,001 people clapping them off. It was disgraceful
Swansea are tidy in possession but I wasn’t massively impressed with them in attacking areas. Their CBs have most of the ball. They were quite direct in the first half when it was 11v11.
Couldn't agree more. As good as O9 has been, he is essentially a full back/midfielder playing in an alien position. Batth and Ballard for rest of the season thanks
