A fact I had forgotten was that Ruddy played one game for Bristol City. Side note: Sykes gets his second and we're 4-1 up and surely heading for our best win of the season. Anyway the game was an emergency loan and he played away at Carlisle, which if I remember correctly, I heard on the radio as I drove from Heathrow after a flight from Canada and cheered like hell when we won as I was stuck in traffic just outside of Bristol. People must have thought I was mad just bouncing in the car.
We are also doing our goal difference a wealth of good and just hope it doesn't become a factor in our season, but if it does we have an advantage.

Semenyo down injured (or wasting time) but we need to man it up for the 3 points. Birmingham have been poor but still have 2 goals (for now).
Stupid yellow for Semenyo for standing over the ball when the opposition is trying to take a free kick. He does it constantly and was rightly booked. Finally our home monkey is off our back but I have a feeling that a better team would have given us a more competitive match. Our visitors next weekend will come here very angry by the humiliation at lowly Rotherham and we will face more competition than today so we had better be ready for the fight. Could we get 2 home wins in a row to climb the table????

Great result, great and welcome 3 points and a much better performance with plenty of energy..The downside is that we are still leaking unnecessary goals from unnecessary mistakes..
