I initially thought it was right on the edge and with it being in the middle of the pitch, he might have got away with a yellow on another day.

But, the more I look at it, the more I think you're right. It was a red card

 

Thats a shocker of a tackle, mistimed and high - didnt really give the ref any other option other than a red

He had cut this out of his game recently but its such a rash challenge

 

Whether you believe it deserved a yellow or red, you cant complain that a red was given

 

We'd be absolutely fuming if that had happened against us and it was just a yellow

Must admit when I saw it I thought red. Saying that we should have had the penalty before and O’Nein was probably pissed off about that

won't labour on it but two wrongs don't make a right so it doesnt excuse O'Nien's tackle, so doesn't make it less of a red. But it does look a pen to me.
