We hung on a bit there and we needn't have. I hope Barton's looking for a central defender, a left back and another defensive midfielder this month. If we are to sustain a push for the top six then we need these positions shoring up, in my opinion.
A creative Mid fielder wouldn't go amiss either. Cheltenham complained about Coburn's goal being off side, when I looked at the highlights on sky my first reaction was OFF SIDE but the flag stayed down, but with the decisions that have gone against us this season it was good to see us get a favourable decision

Well done lads - that sounded like a hard fought victory where we had to defend resolutely at the end. Good to see us grinding out these kind of wins on the road. Another win at Accrington next Saturday will properly put us in the mix. I would’ve settled for consolidation this season but Barton and the boys are beginning to point to something more exciting…..
We needed this win because we've thrown points away recently from winning positions. Now the team know they can actually hold on now.
Good morning all. Any thoughts of you guys going up through the play offs ? And alarmingly, replacing a club who I support.
Unless we make some quality signings this month, I think we will come top 12 but doubt we will make top 6. Too many strong clubs and we keep dropping too many points. And I think there are 3 worse clubs than City in the Championship so you'll be safe for sure
I don't think we'll quite get there either - the teams currently in the top 6 have far larger resources than we do. But this time last year I didn't think we'd get promoted and then look what happened.....
At least you don't have to risk getting caught in the train strike by going to Wembley. Knowing how much JB likes Plymouth I am guessing he ain't a happy bunny or buying Pizzas all round
