one thing thats annoying me about NP is his hypocrisy .

He left Leicester under a cloud because he wasn't happy that Leicester allowed Hull City to talk to him .... he felt unwanted . Boo! hooo !!!
He has had an offer rejected by the club for his services and he remains tight lipped - rather than coming out to show gratitude for the SUPPORT shown by the Tigers board by publicly rejecting the offer .

the bloke is acting up like a 12 yr old !

Having asked for permission, he's finished with us, he'll be the new Leicester manager as there's no way back for him now.

Crying shame, as he was doing a great job for us, but it seems money talks and all this 'all I wanted was the support of the owner' bollocks was a crock of ****.

You are not the honourable man you claimed to be Mr Pearson.

Though in fairness, people rarely are.

If he goes he'll probably take Craig Shakespeare and Steve Walsh with him.
That leaves Nick Barmby as senior coach.

Expect that while NP is in Leicester that AP and the Allams will be busy drawing up short list for new manager.
There will be plenty of interest.
We need a manager who can sort out the attack.
    De Mattao?

Don't expect exodus of players, they are a close knit group.

Shakespeare and Walsh followed Nigel from here so i think they would come back

I think Billy Davies should be your first choice. Did a very good job at Forest without the backing of the board

its not the point tho is it , he wanted reassurances that he was wanted by Leicester ... they showed that by allowing him to talk with HullCity ,
Our club has done the opposite apparently , yet he isnt returning the love .

If this is a snipe at the media , the only ones who are really feeling it are the fans at both clubs , ,as for the media they love it when they can speulate rather than report facts as they get to play with their scrabble sets

If I was in his shoes and the amount of unnecessary **** he gets off people, and was offered a fortune, i'd go, so don't blame him. Good luck to him. One small ray of light is maybe we will get a lot of compensation for him Shaky and the rest.

Agree, as soon as Peter Taylor asked to talk to Palace he had no way back.
AP regarded it as betrayal and showing lack of respect and interest in City.

the salary, package and budget that leicester are offering is too good to pass by and he has to do what is best for him and his family.

That's what he's told the club apparently.

Im not wumming but the general feeling i have always had is Nigel never wanted to leave us in the first place, Had Milan told Hull to sod off like he should off when you asked for permission to talk to him then he we never would of joined Hull or wanted to. Nigel has built you a very good squad with some young players

But Liam Rosenior now has a little egg on his face

If he does go i'm disappointed after all the work he's done with us, I was convinced that due to what he had done with us over the last 12 months that he would be staying. However, this view is now waning as it's becoming more likely he's heading to Leicester if the press are to be believed. I hope that if he does go, all the numpties that have being moaning at him are happy if our season heads down the pan or we end up with a poor replacement and the likes of Chester and Rosenior heading to Leicester I hope they are satisfied, but by then it's be too late for them to realise what a good job he was doing here. As much as NP has unfinished business at Leicester, he also has some here. Unfortunately money talks, a sad indicment of the game today but if any of us were given more money for doing the job we love we'd probably take it. You have to think if he does go back to Leicester he'll be walking a tight rope if they fail to ger promoted, for all he'll have more money he'll lack the security he has with his job here. I reamin hopeful that he'll tell Leicester to do one and continue his good work here, however i'm starting to lose more and more hope that this will be the case. Good luck to him if he does go, and I thank him for restoring pride in this club and getting us back on our feet after the mess we were in during and after our second premier league season.

I know it's very unlikely that you are still going out for drinks with him now.

But if you do, throttle him.

It hasn't been cancelled yet, but I'm expecting an email any minute.

I would gladly throttle him, though I might have to take a couple of extra lads with me. :bandit:

Look what he says in the papers. What ever way you look at it coming back isnt a backwards step for Nigel. We have more potential and ambition but agreed we both championship and pretty much level in the league so currently it would be a side step

I dont like Rosenior anyway for what he did to Greg Cunningham

They may not suffer fools gladly, but if he fails, he still walks away with (say) £4 million on his hip. See ya Nige and thanks for helping us negotiate a very sticky period in our history. Next....................................

Rosenior isn't a dirty player and was remorseful after that challenge. It's not necessarily a step backwards, but not a step forwards. NP has got us set up for a play off/promotion push, granted you guys are favourites to go up but we have as good a chance as you of being in the top 6 along with about another 10 teams.

After the interview with Burnsey on saturday i felt the fact he didnt really commit to the club for whatever reason that his days were numbered. A little disapointing especially after what he said when he left leicester. Its a bit harsh blaming some of the fans maybe Nigel will use that as part of the reason for leaving but at the end of the day MONEY makes the world go round and even if the every fan blew smoke up his arse he'd still go. It happens in football all the time its life and we must crack on
