Totally undeserved, but I'll take it. If we can get a result tomorrow, there was nothing from Villa tonight which should worry us next weekend. But they are very up and down.
Cool. I never thought you were being an apologist as such but the bigger picture here goes beyond the jury verdicts. Before we rush to condemn these women as criminals they will need to be found guilty of making false accusations. I doubt that will ever happen. Mendy has not been found guilty which is not the same as being falsely accused. The volume of women and the predatory behavior shown by everyone involved means that in my opinion these women have done other women a service and almost certainly prevented future sexual assaults. Everyone is at fault but those in power are most at fault and that is Mendy and his associates.

Not having struijk and koch in our team will go a long way to securing something against Villa. Great finish by Bailey but Struijk was in no mans land, sucked to the ball carrier who already had 2 players on him when he should have got tight with Bailey. Bailey had loads of time and space to touch it onto his left and shoot without pressure. Leeds are a great side to watch but still having those two on the pitch they will always leak goals. Villa have a lot of talent but are pretty poor with the team play. Martinez won that game for them, that save against Harrison was world class. Getting past him will be the task.

As he doesn't actually interfere with an opponent (i.e. make contact) the goal is given. But there's no doubt he was a distraction.
Shows why this interfering with play nonsense just that. Honestly don't see how it can be deemed that he's not affected the play there.
Call me old fashioned but I wish they'd just call offside as offside. ****ing easy then and we might get some consistency. If a player is in the final third and not interfering with play then why is he on the pitch.
