Take care whatever you do mate, but you shouldn’t let children like Spurlock make you leave, I reckon he’s only about 14.
That's a real shame, I often agree with you, not always, but always value your opinions and insights into everything SAFC. When posters resort to personal attacks and abuse it ceases to be acceptable. I prefer to ignore it, nobody can offend me on here, it's just not that important, but I do appreciate that you feel that you have been victimised and left exposed by the mods. The wums are just here for their few minutes of fame, it only lasts while they have our attention, ignore them and they cease to exist.
I will always respect someone’s decisions, so sorry to see you go , but will just say although we haven’t had much interaction, I’ve always enjoyed your presence here and you will be missed.
FFS man... As thye Beastie Boys said, You've got to fight for your right to party, **** the ****splats who get off on trying to bring others down.
So I drove across the country yesterday to spend some time with family. That includes a 4 yo grandson and a 3 yo granddaughter. There were tears and laughter, screaming and tantrums, flouncing and lots of love. Just like this forum. And at the end everyone was happy and carried on.
Nicked from the Beehive/Borough/Vauxies site purely to see if any of you fossils are on here from Hillsborough 1973.
Bit of an update on the Mrs.... She's home, and currently in bed fast asleep. Her siezure was caused by an increase in blood pressure (it was up to 220/90), which was caused by a further deterioration of her kidney function, which is now down to 7%. It has been in decline for a good few years now, but took a serious drop over the Christmas period from 25%, 21, 15 and then 9. Then the final drop to 7%. She's started on dialysis on Wednesday, with another session Thursday. Got her home today, but going back to the Freeman for another session Saturday. X3 sessions a week, for 4 hours a time. Big changes ahead, but we will adapt, I've no doubt about that. I can't thank you all enough for you kind messages...you wouldn't believe how helpful they were. The NHS? Absolutely fantastic, and absolute heroes in my eyes. I really can't praise them enough....from ringing 999 to getting her home today, the care my wife received (and also the care/compassion I received) was second to none. The UHND and The Freeman were both brilliant....I wouldn't be writing this post now if it wasn't for them. Again, thank you all for your support....I will never forget it.
I nearly lost my wife 7 years ago through taking nexium was a real shock Only taking 3a day it doesn’t tell you on the instructions But was told not to use them Well my wife not to use. Them
So pleased your wife is getting through it and back home. Pray it goes well from now on for both of you. The NHS is a marvellous institution in our society and needs caring for by those in charge.
I know 1st hand how fantastic the NHS are, the care and treatment my mam has and still is receiving is absolutely amazing. Thoughts with you and your family, please you have her home, that in itself is progress.
Stay strong mate and keep posting, as my old man used to say your "one of the ones", I never really knew what he meant by it , but now older and wiser, I think it was meant to be "your one of the ones that make it all worthwhile" and in my book you certainly fit into that category.
Great news that you're wife is back home. Hope she keeps making a recovery till she's back to 100%. Best wishes to you both
Just seen Benjamin Mendy been cleared. Read into it and looks like all the accusers are linked to each other via phone records and social media so it looks like a planned attack. Madness. Absolute insanity of that’s the case. Destroyed the lad.
There's still 2 cases that they couldn't reach a verdict on and are subject to a retrial. I believe the suggestion that the accusers are "working together" was an allegation put forward by Mendy's defence team, rather than anything that has been proven. Reality is that no-one will really know what happened except for the people in the room, there doesn't seem to be sufficient evidence. Anyone involved in this case needs to learn a lesson from their lifestyle choices though in my opinion.
Aye absolutely. Baffles me how he can be banged up that long if there’s any suggestion of lack of evidence.
I don’t know if anyone has been following the rape case over here in Cumbria, but if them young lasses are lying you won’t be seeing them on the street for a long time.
